"Miaoluo escapes after losing the fight with Dong Hua. Fengjiu and Dong Hua finally meet up. Fengjiu is slowly regaining her memory. Dong Hua directly confesses his love for Fengjiu. Though happy, Fengjiu is scared that she will be hurt again. Dong Hua realizes that Fengjiu is not fully recovered yet, so he lies to Fengjiu, saying they are married in this dream. Meanwhile, Chen Ye is gloomy as he knows it will soon be the end. At the same time, he is curious why Aranya's body would disappear after Fengjiu returns to her own body. Therefore he decides to investigate the relationship between the two." (Source: Viu)

I don’t think Dong Hua was lying when he said they were married because I think he was referring to the people they were supposed to be: Xize and Aranya.
