Upset over the death of his mother, Pasikorn (Peat) nearly collided with Kiew who was crossing the road. She tends to his wound. They argue. They go their self ways until running into each other at a basketball game where he spots her in the stands. Pasikorn throws that ball at Kiew. Heated Words are exchanged and she leaves. Back home, Kiew helps her mother, Sa, who is ill. Peat is at home and short tempered with the maid. As Kiew helps put dinner on the table, her mother passes out and is taken to the hospital. Peat and his father argue who leaves on an urgent matter. Peat follows him to the hospital. Khun Nai enters the room we here Kiew and her mother are staying. He is introduced as a friend of her fathers. Her mother looks worried. Kiew asks about her Dad as he passed away before she was born. She leaves to fleet coffee for Khun Nai. Peat arrives at the hospital but doesn’t know where his Dad went so he wanders around. He just misses seeing Kiew pass him. Khun Nai offers help as he knows how serious her illness really is. He asks that they come love with him so he can take care of everything. Khun Nai and P’Tee leave and is spotted by Peat who doesn’t see them saying goodbye to Kiew who is happy to have met a friend of her Dad. Next day at school, Kiew is worried about her Mom. She’s hit in the head with a basketball by Peat. She doesn’t take bait to argue and leaves. Their friends argue. Sa and Khun Nai discuss treatment with the doctor. He promises if anything happens to Sa that he’ll take care of Kiew. Peat’s friends tease him about staring at Kiew during lunch. The next day, Kiew and Peat once again tangle at school on the basketball court and is spotted by Chaya who is jealous and his friend. Peat goes home where he’s in a good mood after spending time with Kiew. Kiew is also thinking of Peat and smiling. Next day, Sa and Kiew move into the house. Peat is angered when he learns that Sa will become his step-mother.
