Overall the plot felt like it could´ve been so much more than it actually was. The cases were interesting but missed that thing to make you hooked and only the last one got the main characters that involved that it got you sitting on the edge of your seat. However, most didn´t get the chance to showcase the full potential of the group nor their development. If they did, it mostly so little you almost didn´t notice it. I like shows that focus on their crime work but I missed too much of their personal development and life to actually get attached to the characters. The flashbacks cave us insights too but not enough or they made little sense. Another wish of mine is to actually see more of the female lead but well, that just didn't happen.
I was pretty happy with the cast and acting but the voice of their professor absolutely annoyed me at first. His voice thankfully got better and I got to like his character more. The acting was good but some (possible) romantic scenes were done in such a way that I didn't know if they were suggesting something or not.
Music was okay but at some scenes a bit overdone in my opinion, but they usually helped with building the atmosphere in the right way.
The rewatch value isn't that much for me but I might do it in the future so I can catch more hints and actually get more of the story.

I binged the show and I felt like it deserved a full review.

About the Story:
There is a nice flow in the story. It gives us a short introduction to the main characters to show us what we could possibly expect. The build-up is steady with certain hints here and there, but you must be attentive enough to catch them. It's definitely not a drama to play in the background while you're doing something else. The climax of the story isn't stretched out too much, but they sure made it a bit more difficult than it could have been, but it gave a good deepening in our characters relationship. The cases were a lot more detailed and explicit than I expected and I like how they filmed them too, it gave us the full ride.

About the Acting/Cast:
Absolutely loved it! The acting was something I really, really enjoyed and it felt really natural. Ruo Yun did a good job playing the colder character, but still knew to keep him alive. Li Xian had Lin Tao under his control and he felt really natural. I loved how Jun Yan played Dabao and it made me love the character too. They all had good chemistry together.

Music:
To be honest, the music didn't leave a really deep impression on me. The only thing I remember is that the different kinds of music were played at the right times but it wasn't something special.

Rewatch Value:
While I'm not one to rewatch dramas a lot, I would give this one a shot to rewatch! I would wait quite a bit though, just long enough to forget the outcomes of the cases.

Overall:
A really enjoyable experience! Just sit back in your most comfortable seat, get yourself some snacks and binge it.

This review won't contain any spoilers.

About the story:
The story is very realistic and lovely, on the light side but it could get shots of darkness in it from time to time. They were few but the scenes that were dark would come so suddenly that it was almost like a shock. A shock that would remind us that no story is perfect and everyone will struggle. The story in the last few episodes wasn't my favorite part and the ending had me confused for a bit, but once I closed the tab I felt kind of satisfied. This was the way it should have ended.

About the casting/acting:
I have no place to talk about which acting is bad and which is good, but in this, it was good in a way no character would annoy you with their acting. Sure, certain actors sure could do better and some scenes couldn't been acted out in a better way, but the way it is now is good. I don't have any complaints about the casting. Kris Fan isn't the usual visual I like but I enjoyed him.

About the music:
It wasn't bad, but not really my taste. A lot of times it did fit the scene but the sudden stops to it (because we switched to the past) was not something i really enjoyed.

About the rewatch value:
If you want to watch something to feel good again, then it's worth the review. But I think if you would watch this for the second time (and you still remember the most important stuff) it would be too boring to rewatch it.

Others:
Am I the only one that thought some shots really were too long? Like it could be done in half te time.

Overal:
It might be strange, but a 9. I might not have liked all the aspects of it but overall it was a really good watch for me.
