Fan Xian is shocked to see the emperor in his mother’s courtyard. He meets the commander of the royal guards, who is a grandmaster. Prime minister’s “test” accidentally befalls on the crown prince. Prime minister’s suspicions of Fan Xian seem to be pacified for the time being. The second prince comes to “rescue” the crown prince. Fan Xian and Wu Zhu make plans to look for the key in the Empress Dowager’s courtyard. (Source: frankly at MyDramaList)

Heartwarming love

What a lovely romantic scene in this episode! It’s so heart warming to see these two genuinely loving each other’s company and able to express their feelings so openly. This is what a healthy relationship looks like and it made me happy to see them spending some simple, happy contented time together. No kissing, no awkwardness, just a loving hug enjoyed equally by both sides. Perfect!

Rant

Okay I'm starting to understand why people aren't feeling the couple because their scenes are getting boring for me too. I like both of them as characters but I couldn't care less about their alone time :') LOVE the guy with the bow btw
