Fan Xian is expecting to be targeted for assassination when his carriage is diverted, and his guards sent away. He is taken to a temple, where he meets a beautiful young lady unexpectedly. She leaves with a group of people before he can ask her for her name. Unbeknownst to Fan Xian, the group of people is the Emperor and his entourage, who want to see him secretly. Entering the Fan Residence

The first meeting of Miss Lin and Fan Xian was so cute, she's so pretty. They man by his majesty's side was suspicious. And finally Fan Xian entered the Fan Residence, he couldn't even enter through the main door, and was forced to enter through the side gate. He saw a young lad, beating the servants, his half brother.
