Jin GuangYao begs for Lan XiChen's forgiveness but Lan XiChen refuses. Jin GuangYao then explains that he received a threat letter that vows to expose his schemes and kill him if he does not own up. But Lan XiChen does not allow this as an excuse. He then asks Jin GuangYao a series of questions, the first being why Jin GuangYao married Qin Su even though they are siblings. Jin GuangYao explains that he did not have a choice as he loved her. When he also explains why he killed Jin GuangShan, Lan XiChen slaps him. He then asks if Jin ZiXuan's death is also his doing. Jin GuangYao admits that he and Su She played music on that day to manipulate Wen Ning to kill Jin ZiXuan. Jin Ling breaks down at that but Jin GuangYao blames it all on how Jin GuangShan has treated him before. He continues to share how his own father would disregard him every time but it is all too late for Jin GuangYao to redeem himself. Jin GuangYao then holds Jin Ling hostage like he did to Wei WuXian. Suddenly, Lan SiZhui gets kicked into the temple while trying to stop Wen Ning. Wen Ning approaches them with Nie MingJue's sword BaXia in hand and tries to kill Jin GuangYao. As Jin GuangYao dodges, Lan WangJi slices off his left arm. Wen Ning continues to come at him and Lan WangJi and Lan XiChen plays their instruments to stop Wen Ning. The sword then aims for Jin Ling who has Jin GuangYao's blood on his clothes and Wen Ning tries his hardest to stop the sword. While Jin Ling and Jiang Cheng escape, Jiang Cheng hands Wei WuXian his flute Chen Qing. Wei WuXian then uses the Stygian Tiger Seal to control BaXia and lead it into Nie MingJue's coffin. However, as Wei WuXian is about to seal the sword inside, Nie HuaiSang screams and everyone goes out to see. Nie HuaiSang's leg is bleeding and he cries out that Su She attacked him. BaXia suddenly comes straight at Su She and stabs him to death. Wei WuXian then controls BaXia again and successfully locks up both the sword and Stygian Tiger Seal with Nie MingJue's corpse. Later, Lan XiChen attends to Nie HuaiSang's wounds and moves on to Jin GuangYao. When Lan XiChen asks for the medicine from Nie HuaiSang, the latter hides it and warns Lan XiChen about Jin GuangYao when he has his back turned. Lan XiChen immediately turns around and stabs Jin GuangYao. When the others ask what happened, Nie HuaiSang explains that he saw Jin GuangYao reaching behind his back. (Source: Wikipedia)

Monsters are made, and Jin Guangyao was forged…

Monsters are made, and Jin Guangyao was forged by his father, a true scoundrel. While his upbringing may explain some of his actions, it doesn't justify the countless lives he took. He had no qualms about betraying even his own father, and honestly, he got what was coming to him.But there's still the burning question: who's pulling the strings behind the scenes, revealing Jin's secrets one by one? It's a mystery that's keeping me on the edge of my seat. And let's not forget about Nie Huaisang, whose sudden strange behavior is raising some serious red flags. First, he manipulates Su She into stabbing him, and then he orchestrates Lan Xichen into killing Jin Guangyao. Something's definitely not right there.

Now Nie HuaiSang is a liar too

I thought Nie HuaiSang was just a naive younger brother, but I'm second-guessing myself after his lie about Meng Yao pulling something from behind him. It's totally possible he just wanted revenge for his older brother but Meng Yao was already defeated. Ugh!

question about Baxia

How did Wen Ning get Baxia? The last time we saw him, he was running towards the clouds of resentful energy. Then, in this episode, he comes towards the temple, dragging the actual physical sword, and yes the blade spirit is possessing him, but he's still holding the real sword.

So where did he get it? The last time we saw it, was when WWX's paperman was communicating with MingJue's severed head (the things I type for this show!). Was it still at Jinlin Tai?

I know in the novel WN fought NMJ's fierce corpse, but that's not what happened here. Can someone help?

No, it's ending!!!

I wish they could have given this drama 70+ episodes. Some Chinese dramas are that long and don't deserve to be. This is one that shouldn't have a rushed ending....

but seeing we're not done resolving everything, that's what we'll get.
