A Solid Action thriller with an unconvincing climax
Vagabond is exceptional in terms of it's script writing the writers are their own ways to shock,mesmerize and worry with their unpredictable twists. Right from the beginning the writer tries to make us connect hard with the agony of the protagonist with the death of their nephew that actually worked pretty well right from the beginning we want the protagonist to win badly which in turn builds up a lot of tension in every moment.The writer shocks us with a lot of unpredictable twists and the character developments and makes the antagonists stronger as the story proceeds which makes the main protagonist more sympathetic. The chemistry between the Lead pair basically between the NIS agent and the stuntman was excellent throughout but the way it progress towards the end is quite disappointing. The whole point of the writer in the final portions is to make up as many twists as possible eventhough it's quite illogical. The reveal of Samuel was very shocking but digging deep into it can get me a lot of Loopholes. "How can Sameul be so confident on getting the main witness to the court to win this case when the entire government is stopping them? " It's quite illogical and portrays Samuel as lucky in winning the case rather than making him a master planner. Apart from these Loopholes and an unconvincing ending Vagabond is an edge of the seat thriller with great action Stunts, twists and dramatic presentation.Was this review helpful to you?
Starting off with the story, the concept was really good. But the execution was extremely poor and this was the only major drawback of the show. It starts off with a stuntman trying to find out the cause of his nephew’s death with the help of a bunch of NIS agents. He is a stuntman but still, the action scenes shown the show are way too exaggerated for a stuntman to pull off, I mean you can’t just write whatever you want in the script and expect the audience to just accept it. Don’t get me wrong, the action scenes were brilliant, just the dynamics behind them were an issue. Now the main issue where the plot holds weak is, how in the world is the stuntman just being allowed to do whatever he wants involving the NIS. Can they just accept the stuntman carrying out his own investigation and do nothing about it? Not just that, they infact start aiding him with the work after he just imposes himself onto them. And here begin the plot devices. There’s a plot device in almost every other scene. I don’t want to name them cuz I’m trying to keep this review as spoilerless as possible. Everything happens in the show too conveniently.
Coming to the characters, another place where the show is lacking. The characters are not well made. And there’s very little to no development in characters throughout the entire show. The protagonist remains the same aggressive thick headed guy who just barges into works done by others on the basis of getting revenge and justice. The female lead’s character must’ve been annoying to many and she was annoying in many places, but this was one of the few characters in whom we see some development in the entire show.
Acting was a positive part of the show. The actors were all decent in their roles. I have read a lot of criticism about Suzy’s performance but I thought she did fine. It’s her only show that I’ve watched so I can not compare her previous works but she was fine in how she acted, probably a little scope for improvement in the seriousness of her role. The main lead in the show was good, and all the other side actors were decent with their performance. I guess nobody was eye catching and awe inspiring but there’s nothing much to criticise either.
Coming to the music, I know it wasn’t the kind of music where we go and listen to it over and over again, but I thought it was certainly music that suited the scenes to perfection. Especially the action and thriller scenes. The songs were fine as well.
Inspite of all this, I’m still giving this show a 7 cuz it is extremely engaging and doesn’t get overloaded(This is the greatest positive in the show). The episodes were not at all monotonous, unlike in memories of Alhambra, where there’s the same style of achronological direction of the episode. Every episode is engaging and the pace is maintained which only dropped towards the later episodes like 14-16. And the show had a decent timing of humour and Other such moments which didn’t seem all too forceful. This made the show the perfect binge material. Coming to the romance, this was fine in the starting half of the show where it didn’t seem forceful at all. But towards the part where the pace slowed down, it gets really awkward and forceful. Another positive that I noticed was that there was not a lot of usage of emotional scenes in the show to manipulate the audience.
Overall I would like to conclude saying that it’s a very good show if you keep your mind switched off regarding the excessive plot devices used. It’s the perfect material to binge over a weekend. Hope this was helpful.

Lots of Acts, Unbelievable Story...and Suzy!
I think I laughed more during this serious drama than any other one I have watched. The story was so far fetched and so many twists and turns that it was hard not to shake your head. How most of the main cast did not die in all those different violent scenarios was so unbelievable. With that said, I really did enjoy this series. There was plenty of action, and although mostly all over the top, it made for very entertaining viewing, Isn't that what most action movies are like- highly unlikely scenes, unbelievable stunts and explosions. I was never bored or turned off, even during the most outlandish scenes.For some reason, this drama reminded me of one of my all time favorites, Descendants of the Sun. The feel and location filming gave me the same vibe. Very effective method to pull you in.
Lastly, got to give it up for Suzy...she is awesome! This is my 2nd Suzy series- finished Start Up a couple of weeks ago and I thought she was great in that. This was a different role of course, throwing Suzy in many physically demanding scenes. I think she pulled them off in a great way. I am going to watch her past series to get more of this great performer.
probably been over 3 years since i switched to Asian Dramas and i still haven't tired yet. I look forward to seeing even more entertaining shows.

Firstly, I would like to say that I've enjoyed this drama. It had a really nice plot and seemed to head somewhere. In my opinion though, at some point the pace of a story became too fast and it was hard to keep up with the storyline.
Luckily, the cast didn't dissapoint me. The way relationships were created is the best thing about this drama. As I expected, I was amused by Bae Suzy. I also appreciate Lee Seung-Gi acting in this drama.
Sountrack makes another advantage. I actually love it. The two song appearing with the end credits - "Breaking Dawn" and "Open Fire" are my favourites.
Summarising, I've docked my rating due to the not-the-best plot twist.

If you like action, it may be worth a watch
Finished the show in a week! It was an entertaining show, and I enjoyed the action sequences. I definitely don't buy that a stuntman is better than trained special forces and practically invincible, but this drama isn't about the realism anyways haha There are many twists and turns, but also a tad predictable if you are a fan of similar shows or movies. Mostly fun to watch, but not a show that will have me thinking about it for long afterwards.Ending didn't anger me as much, but I was getting less invested as drama progressed and knew it would be open ending. What was annoying is final scenes were exactly the same as the beginning...felt lazy like was there really a need to start with those scenes? I think they should've shown less at the start for a more impactful ending.

The Queen Suzy Bae back in action in an epic story that got pushed back a lot of times. First planned to start in may 2019, it was pushed to august, then premiered september 20. Releasing later to have the time to finish is normal and I'm all for it. But if somebody is reading this and haven't watch Vagabond yet, I'm sorry to tell you that the drama has no ending... Like Arthdal Chronicles, The story and the cast are top notch and if you dont mind "open endings" (that are just open to criticism in my opinion) then go for it watch it. Nice characters, a love story slowly developing and not pushed down our throats, Showcasing of Morocco (even if they sometime jumpcut from city to city randomly) and many more aspects that I looked forward every time I watched an episode. A good drama from begining to end, but it does not end so... it pissed me off

Esse drama me deu uma sensação de Mega Produção americana no quesito filmagem. Além disso, trouxe uma história com altas conspirações e intrigas politicas que já é praxe em produções estrangeiras, juntando tudo isso em um bolo só você ja começa Vagabond no 12 com a sensação de que o drama tem algo promissor, que o diferencia dos demais.Aquele oppa é maravilhoso, e Susy atuou bem melhor nesse drama do que em qualquer outro que já vi com ela, o receio que tive quando vi que ela seria a protagonista foi embora logo nos primeiros episódios. O restante do elenco também teve atuações excelentes
As cenas de ação foram muito bem produzidas, coisa rara de se ver em doramas, pelo menos se comparado aos que já vi esse foi bem melhor e mais convincente nesse aspecto. E a premissa embora fosse muito batida ( pelo menos pra mim que já vi incontáveis séries e filmes americanos que focam nessa questão de intrigas políticas e altas conspirações de organizações e por aí vai...) Conseguiu me prender durante toda a história sem que ficasse monotono....
É uma história cheia de reviravoltas e conspirações e quando você pensa que sabe quem é o vilão, lá vem os roteiristas te mostrarem que não era bem assim, não é como se tivessem santos nessa história. Vemos que infelizmente todos aqueles que tem algum poder acabaram de alguma forma envolvidos no atentado terrorista do avião. E eu certamente não esperava que aquele personagem fosse o bandidão mor, fiquei chocada com a revelação dele no episodio 15 o que foi aquilo?
Realmente gostei da pitadinha de romance que teve foi muito bonitinha.Essa, foi a primeira vez que assisti algum drama dublado e gostei da experiência, as vozes realmente combinaram com os personagens.
Eu diria que esse drama tem um ritmo frenético e sempre me deixava na expectativa do que viria a seguir, ainda mais porque estava acompanhando o lançamento dos episódios toda semana.
Agora vamos falar sobre o que me incomodou nesse drama:
A Go Hae -Ri no inicio da história era tão inexperiente nas missões que sequer parecia uma agente especial, tiveram momentos que cheguei a duvidar que ela era realmente uma agente capacitada para estar em campo, ora eu pensava que isso poderia ser porque ela sequer tinha sido treinada corretamente seja psicologicamente seja fisicamente,ora suspeitei que se essa não era a pessoa certa para esse serviço ou simplesmente a culpa fosse de sua incompetência kkk terminei o drama sem chegar a uma conclusão sobre isso.
O episodio 13 me deixou com a sensação de que a historia poderia terminar ali sem grandes problemas, o que me incomodou foi que quiseram virar o jogo com reviravoltas demais em um ponto tão avançado da história. O resultado foi um final inacabado com varias pontas soltas, e sequer temos certeza se tera uma 2 temporada ou quando será isso.
Se tudo tivesse terminado nesse episodio no momento que eles descobrem e prendem as pessoas que estavam por trás do atentado suspeito que o final seria bem melhor do que acabou sendo, já que várias coisas tinham sido de alguma forma 'resolvidas' e eu entenderia perfeitamente e aceitaria o desfecho o problema maior pra mim e o ponto que eu gostaria de chegar sobre isso é que: os roteiristas foram com muita sede ao pote e quiseram fazer outra reviravolta que além de não fazer o menor sentido, estragou demais a história, e nos deixaram com a estranha sensação que tudo o que aconteceu até o episódio 16 não passou de uma preparação para a verdadeira história que queriam contar, foi como se o tempo todo eles quisessem chegar nesse ponto duvidoso, onde os protagonistas perdem totalmente a noção do certo e errado para buscar algo que já não se trata de justiça, mas uma vingança cega e desenfreada pura e simplesmente.
Enfim, a conclusão que chego é que apesar dos furos de roteiro que esse tipo de história inevitavelmente acaba tendo mesmo que esperemos o contrário, foi um ótimo drama em termos de fotografia, ritmo, personagens e história interessante, mas que se perdeu nos 45 do segundo tempo e falhou miseravelmente com uma reviravolta meio jogada do final ou se é que posso chamar aquilo de final. Além disso acabaram desvirtuando pessoas que antes faziam tudo certo dentro da lei, para se transformar no extremo oposto de fazer de tudo para alcançar seus objetivo.
Além disso, não acredito que tenha pano para manga para mais 16 episódios de história e suspeito que caso tenha vou acabar não gostando.
O resumo da opera é que se você gosta de dramas regados a muita ação, intrigas e jogos de poder entre organizações deve assistir esse drama sem duvidas, mas não espere que tera um final muito bem amarrado e condizente ou que tera um daqueles romances espetaculares que não é disso que se trata certo?

O que de cara gostei foi que ele já amava ação e era preparado para isso sendo dublê, me incomoda quando o cara vira um profissional de um dia para noite em alguns filmes, a principal já mostrou que é uma mulher forte e decidida.
Claro que há coisas irreais, nem filmes de ação escapam disso, como agentes que deveriam ser preparados parecerem amadores, situação de matar ou morrer onde o protagonista fica pensando ao invés de atirar. Eu particularmente estou acostumada com vários desdobramentos, mas imagino que para quem não, deve ser massante. Fiquei super curiosa de como seu deu resultado do início do dorama, quando chegou achei muito coerente com tudo.
Sabia que teria um final aberto pois uma segunda temporada já tinha sido discutida, mas o tanto que falaram negativamente achei que seria ruim, porém me enganei, foi deixado um ótimo gancho. Entendo a indignação, quem ver dorama está acostumado a sensação de concluído, eu também, nesses sete anos que vejo e vi muitas mudanças nos doramas, mas confesso que essa é mais dramática, não sei se aprovo ou me acostumarei com multi temporadas.

excellent !!!!!un chef d'oeuvre
pour commencer, le casting : PARFAIT!! on ne voyait personne d'autre. en permanence sous le charme des deux acteurs principaux. Lee Seung GI est excellent, il n'hésite pas à s'en prendre plein la figure, il est crédible, j'ai pleuré avec lui !alors ok le scénario est du déjà vu, mais on se laisse quand même prendre au jeu justement parce que les acteurs sont là, bien campés dans leurs rôles. De l"humour, et même des sentiments dans cette série complotiste où la corruption remonte jusqu'au sommet de L’État
le budget est là, les cascades, les tournages au Maroc,
on attend la suite, qui devait arrivée en 2021, mais reportée en 2022 !!

Une chose que l’on ne peut pas dire de « Vagabond », c’est que le drama manque d’action ! En fait, malgré la longueur du drama, l’action ne s’essouffle pas, comme c’est souvent le cas, tout comme les rebondissements, qui sont nombreux ! Et quel plaisir de retrouver le duo composé de Lee Seung Gi et Suzy, et leur incroyable alchimie ! La grande déception de ce drama vient d’une chose simple, et si mal faite : la fin. Cette fin, qui est non seulement incomplète mais affreusement abrupte, m’a laissé un goût amer… et je suis certaine que je ne suis pas la seule pour qui ce fut le cas.

tem um problem
vey assim se for ter uma 2 temp PORRA PERFEITO CARA. agora se nao ai fode, pq literalmente a serie acabou do nada sem sentido nenhum e uma continuacao seria perfeita para d fato continuar. mas o drama em si é bom, a historia é intrigante e realista( a cada segundo elea se fodem mais i mais) e eu qeia tanto ver o meu casal dando um beijinho afe veyWas this review helpful to you?

Estou impressionada com as atuações deste drama, principalmente as dos vilões, eles te fazem ranger os dentes de raiva, e eu adoro isso, se é para ser mau que seja bem feito. As cenas de ação são incriveis na realidade a produção deste drama foi muito bem feita e tenho também que exaltar o enrdo que te mantém interessado o tempo todo.A protagonista feminina é daqueles personagens que eu gosto de assistir, forte, inteligente, corajosa e divertida , bem humana quanto ao protagonista masculino também gostei do seu desempenho ,pricipalmente na cenas de ação.
Nem tudo são flores e elogios por aqui há pontos que deixam a desejar, como por mais que o drama seja recheado de ação e vários plot twist , ainda sim teve momentos arrastados, começou a ter muito do mesmo, os vilões ganhavam uma rodada e os mocinhos ganhavam na outra virando um loop infinito, e isso me cansou as vezes, temos ainda as pontas soltas e situações bem irreais e questionaveis no roteiro ;creio que deveria ter menos episódios , se o drama acabesse no 13 ou 14 episódio para mim estava ótimo.
Em fim, mesmo o final sendo o que é eu ainda recomendo que você assista esse drama.

I'm impressed with the performances in this drama, especially the villains, they make you grit your teeth in anger, and I love it, if it's meant to be bad it's done right. The action scenes are amazing in fact the production of this drama was very well done and I also have to praise the plot that keeps you interested all the time.
The female protagonist is one of those characters I like to watch, strong, smart, brave and fun, very human as the male protagonist I also liked her performance, especially in the action scenes.
Not everything is flowers and praise here, there are points that leave something to be desired, as even though the drama is filled with action and several plot twists, it still had dragging moments, it started to have a lot of the same, the villains won a round and the good guys won in the other turning into an infinite loop, and this tired me sometimes, we still have loose ends and very unreal and questionable situations in the script; I believe there should be fewer episodes, if the drama ended in the 13th or 14th episode it was great for me .
In the end, even though the ending is what it is, I still recommend you to watch this drama.
