In May 1925, there were growing anti-foreign sentiments, culminating in a rebellion at the Yu Da Sha factory. Huo Zhen Xiao, the son of mob bosses, and his friends help a female student protester who is being assaulted by an English captain. He badly injures the captain, and they are all sent to the notorious Tianjin prison, which is run by 4 prison bosses and a cruel warden.
