Love and Fortune (2018)

Two people are just drawn to each other despite social norms dictating that they should not be together. The notion of do you stay loyal to your family or follow your heart is displayed in both dramas.

Both dramas are similar for their cheating aspect, both FL's are not satisfied with the relationship they have with their husband, thus, looking or accidentally looked at another man that appreciates their value more as a woman. They did not find the "other" man, they just happened to be in the right situation at the right time, and the "other" man caught their attention. The difference is that H has a sad ending, but OTWTTA has a happy ending, though not seen, just implied. And another thing, H is kinda steamy, but OTWTTA is more conservative, I don't know how they did it, but it came out nicely and sweet. H is also sweet and nice, but more sexy in my opinion.

Eun Mo is back in her hometown, Paju after spending three years of soul searching in India. However, the reality she returns to is far from comforting as she is faced with a dreaded reunion with her widower brother-in-law, Joong Shik. Almost a decade ago when Joong Shik came to Paju as a student activist fugitive, Eun Mo never took a liking to Joong Shik who ended up marrying her older sister, Eun Soo. But she was forced to live with him when a tragic accident took her sister’s life. During a course of three years, Eun Mo gradually discovered she was carrying complex emotions toward Joong Shik. Having felt trapped, she decided to leave Paju. Eun Mo believed she had resolved all emotional conflicts in India, but as she digs further into her sister’s death, she becomes torn between the truth and her feelings for Joong Shik.

A love story affair with a bit different storyline & plot with mature sexual content but both is worth watching drama. If you like mature love affairs story I definitely recommend this drama.

They both have similar plot and themes such as the husband cheating and the wife having a younger man as a love interest.

Both series deal with an older woman who becomes involved with a high schooler. The women are unsatisfied and unhappy with their current lives and must figure out what they need to do in order to live fulfilling lives.

When Shiho Nishina got worried about her sex life with her husband, her husband proposed to her, "Why don't we go to a couple exchange party?" At first Shiho strongly turned down the idea, but eventually, she gave in because her husband was very persuasive. "We're just going to observe, okay?" Shiho said as she reluctantly agreed to it. Meanwhile, a former diplomat Mr. Kubozuka ran a couple exchange club, "Aquarium," with his wife in their house. At first, Shiho was being very cautious, but gradually, she got attracted to Mr. and Mrs. Kubozuka's charm and finally agreed to exchange couples with them. It seemed that their sex problem had disappeard and they had found happiness, but as it turned out, that was just the beginning of their nightmare....Adapted from the manga series "Fuufu Enman Recipe: Soredemo Otto wo Aishite Iru" by Koshikawa Tamae and Aoisei

Similar age gaps but the stories are different with one being innocent and pure while the other is more sexual and introspective.

Both have the similar relationship between older woman and teenage under-age boy. Also has steamy scenes too.

Both are telling the story about infidelity between couple, also age gap, older woman-younger man relationship. Both drama's genre are mature drama. In both drama, the main couple decide to be separated and at the end, both story are ended with an open ending for the main couple.

Older woman, and a younger man...In Love and Fortune, FL is way older like in 30's while ML is in high school...in the other drama, age is no issue, just the FL not wanting the success of the ML coming from her so that ML can stand on his own and be proud of himself

Both have a very mature storyline centering a grown woman who is having a hard time finding herself. They feature growth and both have their own shining points.
