10/10 - Old Dong Baek dies, new Dong Baek raises her head!

Ja Young is way cool. Love how she just turned on her pervert husband. She even planned ahead. I wonder if she new that Gyu Tae would try to steal the ledger of his sins. I love that the other women started to hate on Dong Baek, but all it took was one woman to say the men deserved it. They they all started to grudgingly respect her. I hope Dong Baek meant what she said to Gyu Tae when she made him apologize and drop the lawsuits. That the old Dong Baek is dead. She’s going to be strong now. Yong Shik has her holding her head up high!

Yong Shik is so shocked that Dong Baek didn’t turn him down for dumplings. After the talk Dong Baek had with Duk Soon that she should see if she truly wants to be with Yong Shik, but that Duk Soon will never approve, I thought it would deter Dong Baek again. Dong Baek admits she has feelings. While Yong Shik reminds her that he had them all first and reaffirms everything. After Yong Shik says love is like fire, Dong Baek shuts that idea down. Yong Shik is unphased saying you’re pushing me away and eats happily. Until Dong Baek says this:
“Steam is all you need to cook dumplings you know. You don’t have to boil them to cook them. Forget fire. Why don’t we just take it slow and be warm together? You can love like fire, but it’s all over when you break up.”
She explains all the loves in her life that burned like fire went out. They leave her. So she wants to stay warm for a long time. I love the idea of not loving like fire, but loving like steam. He-he.

Yong Shik is still very determined to solve the murder and we end with him deciding on how he will find Joker. He is a native, but isn’t the police Chief? Or maybe he isn’t and that’s why he makes those comments about the women of the area. OH, yeah! I remember ending up there was a demotion. So maybe he wasn’t a native when he originally was placed there.
