Chen Zhe Yuan plays the male lead in both dramas. The female lead thinks the male lead is a villain at the beginning of the drama. There is amnesia in both dramas. In Renascence the female lead gets amnesia when she hits her head. In Mr. Bad the male lead pretends to have amnesia to protect the female lead from headbreak.

Both male leads are played by Chen Zhe Yuan.
Both stories deal with revenge.
Both deal with brothers and their love hate relationship.

These are both similar. Falling in love with a general or lord, and I'm not sure of the ending for the love story of court enemies, but you can watch to find out!

Both are similar, but not really. If you liked Renascence then you would also like the promise of chang'an.

Revenge is a central theme in both stories with multiple characters going to lengths to get revenge on those who hurt them. However, in "Renascence" the main character is out for revenge vs in "Princess Silver" it is the villains' and other main leads.

In both drama the FL marries another person but is then reunited and marries the ML.

Set in the early 12th century, war threatens to erupt across the land of Da Chu, and the Imperial court is filled with corruption and intrigue. The cruel Emperor and his corrupt cronies plot to kill the Empress Yao Mo Xin – and are successful in their malicious efforts. Meanwhile, other vindictive parties chase down Yao Mo Wan, the Empress’s younger sister. In the night full of mystery, the dead queen’s spirit enters the body of her younger sister, intent on taking revenge on people who wronged and poisoned her to death. The Empress in Yao Mo Wan's body, enters the Imperial Court, bent on seeking vengeance. She also meets (and falls for) Ye Jun Qing, a young Da Chu prince. As she discovers the scale of the corruption at court, she decides to do her best to see that Ye Jun Qing deposes the evil Emperor. She uses the best tools at her disposal: her wits and natural intelligence to help her beloved in getting the throne.

Renascence is a normal length drama with a lot of episodes. If you are ready for a more serious melodrama watch it because:
- FL soul swaps with another girl (her sister) to get her vengeance
- FL hates the evil brother/king because he caused her death
- ML is the brother of the villain and helps the FL
- no force/arranged marriage but ML and FL defeat the villain and end up together

it is about a girl Xuan Mo who is an ordinary high school girl till the day she was unexpectedly possessed by a female marshal from an alien civilization. Her outstanding ability amazes everyone around her. However, the highly intelligent female marshal has no clue how to act as a human being and has to learn everything from scratch. When her human life gets more enjoyable, someone discovers her secret…

This drama is also about sister switching soul, not face this time. But the story (r)evolves around her and two man (again two) who both have a huge thing for her.

Both dramas are historical/fantasy involving face/body swapping and a love triangle between an emperor SML, his warrior brother ML, and the FL who is initially closer to the SML before she meets or falls in love with the ML. Both dramas have similar themes of obsession, revenge, mistaken identities, and a plot point where a male character keeps his female love interest who is believed to have died on a bed of ice, then revives her near the end of the drama. Both dramas conclude with the FL and ML marrying and having a child.

Both dramas are historical and are about the FL who, after being betrayed and losing those she loves, has her face exchanged with another girl. She then returns for revenge. Both MLs have been in love with the FLs for a long time, something the FLs are unaware of.

While very different settings, both dramas have the FL dying and coming back to the past, trying to change events to stop things from happening as they did the first time.

Both FLs end up in another girl's body and fall in love with the ML with whom either they or the original girl had a past romance with.
