Fantastic drama, I will always go back to rewatch this drama when I’m out of ideas of what to watch. I watch this drama way back then but is still rewatching it haha. I love the story line but the ending was sad in a good way. I’m glad everything turn out good. Hoping for a season two to see the development of Tantawan and Chalan relationship!

At first I was debating if I should give this drama a go but since there were so many actors and actress that I like in this drama, I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I have made up my mind to watch it. Although the relations may seem confusing in the beginning it’s gets clearer as the drama goes on.

Waste of Time

I started watching for Sunny Suwanmethanon, and there's Davikah so my expectation was high. Also I'm surprised I managed to finish watching. First of all, the series is unnecessarily long. 16 episodes? Should have been 10 max. The storyline dragged on and on and on. I actually do like the basic theme of magical gateway for the special person. It's pretty sweet. The plot of the drama is also very interesting. But I don't think they have enough substance to last 16 episodes.

Second of all, Tantawan was a jobless, damsel in distress who constantly needed saving. I feel like the whole conflict with Paeng not having enough time for her wouldn't have been so serious if she actually has a day job rather than a full time caretaker for a grown ass man. Paeng on the other hand, why is he even still dating Tantawan? He seemed annoyed with her all the time. He tries to change when he realize what he's been during wrong, that's when he seemed less robot like. Also Paebii is an annoying character. I'm irritated whenever she opens her mouth. Chalan is pretty sweet, I guess it's the youth. He's genuine with Tantawan, so I like that.

But I wouldn't recommend this series.

Indeed! This is one of the best lakorn I'd watched so far. I didn't noticed that I cried already?. There's so much lesson to be learn. Especially today that doctors sacrifice their love ones just to save someone else life. They don't even have much time to spent time to their love ones just to make them feel how special they are to them. That is why if we losses someone the doctors feel the same thing you felt because there's no doctor wanted their patient to die they studied for how many years, they'd read lots of books And as for Peng even do he had no time for Tantawan but he sacrificed everything just for her. He loved her so much but he had no time because he need to put all his attension to others who is close to death. Without knowing he made Tantawan realize if he still love her. For Tantawan it doesn't mean that you've been together for how many years you'll end up being together, don't only stick to a person. If you truly love the person no need to ask for attension because he/she will do it Unexpectedly. If you are going to choose between two person choose the person who you are comfortable with. If you are happy when you're near him/her. lastly, even do how much we love the person at the end we need to be separated and accept the fact that they're gone in this world. ?My ambulance is one of the best for me.? I was so confused who will i gonna shipped between Chalan and Peng. Because i pity peng so much when they'd broke up. But i pity Chalan more when she refuses to helped Tantawan even do he still have the power. Because he saw how Peng still loved Tantawan. Huhuhu i'm gonna miss this so much?.

This a great genre twist in Thailand drama as people may find it boring to watch the slap kiss romance and cliche storyline. This drama gives a medical-fantasy genre which is a refreshing story for me.

The first few episodes is a bit boring until Chalarn coming from the wall when Tantawan use the magic. It spikes up the curiosity and started to become interesting.

##SPOILER ALERT## **SPOILER WARNING**

Have you ever watch a story that made you curious who the female lead will end up with?? This story made you curious until the last minutes of the last episodes.

I am #teamchalarn all the way from the beginning and I glad my pairing is the endgame hahahaha

This Surprised Me

I'm someone who only really watches BL dramas, or ones that at least have a BL story on the side. So, when I kept hearing about My Ambulance (and I have always loves the OST), I would be a little tempted into watching it, but ultimately never giving it a go. It wasn't until after 'I Told Sunset About You' that I got more interested. And I bet you can guess why; PP and Billkin. However, I still didn't watch it because I knew it was only bromance and knew how it ended. Apparently I'm a masochist and also love the actors so much that I finally gave in.

I'm happy I did.

Actually, I watched the entire show in one go without a break (so 16 hours straight lol) because I was absolutely glued to it. It got me in the first five minutes, I'm not gonna lie. I was legitimately crying at the start of the first episode and I was crying by the end of the first episode too. With all the crying I was doing during those 16 episodes, I lost count of how many times it happened. I'm actually tempted to rate this show a 9/10 because even though I cried a lot, I laughed and smiled a lot too. Plus, like I said, I couldn't draw my attention away from it the entire time I was watching. Usually, I'm pretty restless and can't focus on one thing for a long period of time. Not this time though.

Story: This had a solid that I admire. It lost me a little during the whole 'Chalan losing his power as Peng starts to get his back after Tantawan remembers the accident' thing. But they redeemed it with 'Chalan never lost his power, he was just trying to do the right, non-homewrecking, respectful thing by not overstepping with Peng and he was hurting the entire time and loved her deeply'. I know my opinion is an unpopular one but I strongly believe that Tantawan made the right choice when she chose Chalan. They were way better suited. He understood her, let her cry, never invalidated her feelings, cared about her, put her first above everything else (even his own feelings and safety), comforted her, encouraged her, reassured her, and was always respectful - obviously other than when he was pretending to not like her but even then, he was trying to respect her 'relationship' with his senior. He also made her laugh and was always there to help her. Peng, on the other hand, simply didn't treat her like she deserved. She had spent the last 15 years of her live completely revolving it around Peng and his career, so much so that she let her own 'wants' and ambitions go. That's not love. That's obligation. She felt indebted to Peng for saving her and being with her all those years ago when she was vulnerable. Sure, she loves him, but I don't think what they have is a romantic love. There's that saying that if you truly loved someone and wanted to be with them, you would never fall in love with that second person. And the only reason Peng got part of the power back when she remembered is because she was no longer harbouring those feelings of hate and resentment for him after finding out how much he cared for her. She still loved him and now believed he loved her too, so the power worked again. But, Chalan still had it as strong as ever the ENTIRE time. Meaning, the love she felt between them was stronger, non-platonic, and truer. Okay, so other than their love triangle, the actual story was funny and somehow light-hearted while also making me cry out of sadness. All the characters had pretty good development and weren't one dimensional, thank God. Well, Tikka was kind of a little one dimensional. But that's just my opinion. The only character that truly got on my nerves was Peng. I'm sorry but him 'secretly caring and loving her a lot' isn't a good enough excuse to treat her like she's always being "unreasonable". Jesus, the amount of times where he invalidated her feelings or gaslighted her was crazy. And he couldn't even do something as simple as reassure her of his love when she needed it the most. He neglected her, forgot about her, and acted ungrateful for everything she did for him.

As I said earlier, I started this series for PP and Billkin, but ended up loving the main storyline too. In saying that, any time they were on screen, I was squealing. Dao's character was truly great. There was depth there, great development and he was often good comedic relief. And when you contrast that with Tew's closed off, hot-tempered attitude, they were perfect. I loved, loved, loved their development. The way Dao cared and worried for Tew was the most adorable thing ever. Plus, I think that if Dao weren't to die, they would have developed further into something more than friends. I think the reason this is technically just a bromance storyline is because they didn't get the chance for it to become more. However, it definitely seemed like that's the way it was heading. For example, when Dao was actively expressing his concern for Tew and his safety, Tew said to him that he doesn't know what it's like to love someone. That hurt Dao and he cried because he does know what it's like to see someone he loves be put at risk; Tew. And he really cemented that when he went against the rule of 'medical team waits outside' to chase after Tew when he ran into the burning building. Then, he told him how much he worried about him and that he needed to take care of himself (not just his sister) since he won't be around to keep him safe. Plus, when Tew is encouraging his sister to choose 'the one' because they might not be there the next day, he told her that he doesn't want her to have the same regrets that he does after Dao died. I think that's pretty self-explanatory of what he felt for Dao, despite how he showed it. Ugh, soon I'm gonna cry if I keep writing about this lol. I was a mess during the death scene when they're trying to save him. I don't think I've ever cried that much before over a show or film or death scene damn it. My heart broke again during the funeral when Tew was talking to Dao and how he bought him the shoes he promised him.

Other than the story and visuals, the cinematography and camera work was also top notch. I thought I should add that.

Acting/Cast: They casted everyone perfectly and everyone played their roles amazingly. Sometimes, the acting from the supporting cast was a little off but for the most part, it was incredible.

Music: Do I even need to say anything here? The music and OST are amazingggg.

Rewatch Value: Honestly, this might shock you since I just talked about how much I cried, but I would rewatch this. It was super cute, entertaining, and I have soft spots for three specific characters; Chalan, Dao, and Tew.

Overall: I highly recommend this show for literally EVERYONE! It's the first drama I've watched with boy/girl couples where I don't hate them all or find them annoying. But, I'm gonna go rewatch ITSAY now for the PP/BK love ahh. It can be my medicine for what this show put me through.

Huhu im so late for this! i regret watching this now, because why didn't i watch this earlier. okay from the story i think its typical but it is not! u know in the end tantawan ends up with chalam, yeah we rarely get an ending where the second male lead ends with the female lead. for the character development for tantawan x peng their relationship is tasteless, opposite with tantawan x chalam their relationship is more endearing they got best relationship development more than tanpeng also pengbami. for the acting oh god these are davika, sunny, sky, bank thiti, billkin, pp, pond, toptapp i love you guys that means they never disappointed me, top-tier! special for bank thiti omg u scared me, absolutely amazing acting! music oh i like it!!!! overall i liked it very very much come here because of bkpp ended up falling in love with chalam & tantawan <3 . gonna rewatch for chalam tantawan moments >.< NADAO GDH pls make another series like this again, please kha~♥

Okay just want to drop review here cause i don't see any review yet so here’s my review

Might contain spoiler to anyone who read this.

The acting is walllahhh (okay might be biased cause there’s sunny in the drama) the female lead took the character to another level, love it. And despite some new faces in the drama they all still manage to took their role greatly.

As for the storyline, there’s magic in the drama. Although I think there’s still plot hole here and there. Still in episode 8 so there’s more to see. But there are things that doesn’t make sense to you but you can brush it off for the sake of the drama theme.

I like how relatable the female lead feels(when someone she love doesn’t seems to give the same energy and effort to their love as her.) And that her being a fragile human she is, falls for someone when she was in her pithole(breakdown) so seems like she mistook her affection to love. Yet she still cry whenever the Dr Peng around. She love him but her love feels one sided eventhou it’s not.Dr Peng for me is real life Dr character. Why? Because my boyfriend is exactly like him. Never really shows his emotion, patients come first before you, dedicate himself to the hospital basically and just because he knows I love no one else but him, so the way he behave look like someone taking relationship for granted. However, he just being logical. ???????????? well, tawan is someone I can 100% relate with. So since episode one I sobbing ugly. Most ugly sobbing episode so far is episode 7&8. No one die but I cry like crazy cause it’s happen to me before and we somehow reconcile. So I really wish Tawan and Dr Peng reconcile back on future episode. So yeah I’m the #teamDrPeng

I really hope they explain some plothole in the beginning episode. And I really want to know what Peng hides from Tawan. I know he actually trying to protect her. He love her too much but you have to see the tiny hint he gave ????
Ohh yeah, everytime a character die... funny it’s doesn’t make u feel sad. Maybe the editing? I guess. Cause they don’t really use the sad bgm during people die.
Okay done reviewing episode so far

I finished this series and rewatched it over ten times now. The acting is honestly not the best but Mai and Sunny both saved this series big time. I don't think I would've loved it as much as I did if the main cast was someone else. The music is good and really memorable especially Love Siren. The love story is quite realistic as they are a couple of 15 years but start to fall apart because of lack of time together. Tantawan subconsciously start to develop feelings for a third party because of the lack of attention/appreciation from Mor Pang, which you can consider cheating but from my pov I understood why she fell for another guy. Even though it's true that Mor pang loves her and has always loved her you can't deny that he took her for granted and never truly appreciated the little things she did for him and their relationship. She fell for another guy because he made her feel special and like she mattered unlike Pang. Nobody should to go through what she did and feel unwanted and not enough. Hence, I'm team chalam and will always be. There was a point in the series where I rooted for Pang and wished so hard for her to pick Pang because of his love for her but my whole mindset of him changed right when he used Bami as a rebound. As much as I dislike bami, she didn't deserve to go through that. She truly liked Pang and Pang gave her hope because he was vulnerable but ends up hurting her so badly. Overall, I really liked this series, it teaches us to hold and appreciate what we have right now cause once it's gone it's never coming back. Tantawan was always the one fighting for their relationship and when she was done, there was no going back because she found how happy she was without him; and she knew by letting him comeback he's going to have to change for their relationship to work and she didn't want that for him cause she knows how it feels like to be in that position. Many may not agree to the ending but it's the best one I could ask for. #teamchalam

Also, this show gives off k-drama vibes so if you're a kdrama fan this show will be the one for you.

A unique love story

With so many romance dramas these days, "My Ambulance" brings across a fresh taste and storyline into the mixture.

STORY
The story was quite surprising with many plot twists. I do wish that they handled the relationship between Liwan and Tikka more strongly however, the other love lines were good. Very captivating and held the story through for all 16 episodes. There were enough plot and character development to make me feel sad/happy at the respective events that happened to each character, wether it was good or not. Would have loved an extension of tatawan x chalan love story, but the ending does wrap things up nicely.

ACTING
Very well done, everyone managed to give off the right emotions which added another layer of depth and story to the drama. Kudos to Bank who acted as Taai, he really pulled off the psychopathic / delusional theme of his character! Very convincing. Davika was also superb acting as Tantawan as one can really see the dilemma she was in when choosing between Peng and Chalan. Didn't quite like it when the characters screamed but other than that, amazing acting.

MUSIC
Oh, the OSTs were amazing, making the scene have a more "love" vibe or a more "sad/longing" vibe. Really good and added also another layer of depth to the scenes. Props to the production team! Editing was good, and the VFX was believable. Transitions were superb as well, one of the best directing/editing I have seen.

REWATCH VALUE
Once the story is over, I feel that it has been tied up nicely. May not rewatch it but it still gave an amazing first impression. Highly recommended drama :)

My Ambulance shows a story of love in different kinds and different stages bound by magic and life.
It shows strong love in the form of friendship - #ChaWanDao brotherhood
Sibling love - Tikkao and Tantawan, Taai and Kiit
New found love - Tantawan and Chalan
Unrequited love - Peng, Tantawan, Chalan, Paebii
Love of new life - Liwan and Tikka
Love that lasted for a long time - Peng Tantawan
Love of a grandson - Lek
Selfless love -Dao
The series showed birth, life, and death in a perfect and emotional way with a lot of humor on the side.
That there's more to the magic and love.
And the main lesson is to make the most of your time. That love should be protected and nurtured.
The best part for me was the OST and the actors who played in the series. You can feel the pain in every tear, and smile when they smile. I've rewatched it for the second time and the emotions are still the same. ♡
