Social Syndrome Episode 8
Bob
Tom, a musician who gave up his dreams and threw away everything in life, is stuck in the house taking care of his father who has diabetes and Alzheimer's and is glued to a wheelchair since he is paralyzed from his waist down. Tom uses social media to complain and fantasize in order to relieve stress from caring for his father. And he uses music from his tablet to make his father sleep every night.
But then one morning, Tom wakes up to see his father holding a black-screen tablet that is upgrading by itself on his hand. His father doesn't react to anything at all, only his eyes swirling. It's as if his father is downloading something into his body, and that thing is going to change him forever. Tom's life is never going to be the same from that moment on.
