Zhe Liu accidentally reads an embroidered message from Secretary Shi who takes Ji Chang's palace to be watched. To get her out, Hai Shi asks the emperor to grant a marriage edict for Zhe Liu and Zhuo Ying. Before Zhuo Ying can see her, Fang Zhu sends him on an errand. He reveals to Zhe Liu that Zhuo Ying is the youngest son of the Lord of the Left Huku Tribe and is in danger if he stays in the capital, hinting that she is stopping him from leaving for his own safety. This blows my mind. Tears of fury struck me.

I mean I never really liked Jiangming and how he treated the people who trust him or even for some reason love him but he went way overboard now. He is a fucking sociopath that only has his goal in front of him and he is just using everyone around him for that. There is nothing noble in him. I hate him so much. I really dont want to see him as a love interest for Haishi. I really hope she FINALLY drops her obsession with him and realizes what he really is... Just what Youdu said, a privileged man who just wants to win no matter the cost. Either his life or anybody elses! I hope Youdu comes back and Haishi leaves Jiangming and he dies alone really. 😡
