A beautiful drama comes to end
Life of star. Who was little proudly towards his acting but at the same time he understands the importance of relationship ,as a father as a son and as a boyfriend . He just wants to protect his family that's why he had little proudly character .his life little changes when someone comes to his life . To get together how they faced and overcome the difficulties showed till end.Lead actor acting was very good ,he was capable to attract the viewers emotionally by his acting . When his character cried for his son I emotionally connected with his son.
Lead actress also very cute.
Small kid too.

A refreshment story about love
Ths is not only a love story between a man and a woman, but also between a fahter and son, a brother and sister and how a star idol can loose everything in a moment but manages to overcome all difficulties that come before him.This drama also shows what is the entertainement world and how stars are treated not like persons but only like a product and a machine to make money for the agencies.
All the female characters , including the FL, are down to earth!They are not hysterical or naives at the point they seem a bit stupid as usual in this type of chinese dramas.
All the actors are great in their role, but I would like to highlight Jerry Jia (Su Xing) and Fu Men Bo ( Qi Yue)!
I've never lost an episode at Yo Yo English Canal but now I will see it again, for sure

This drama has second lead syndrome for sure
But it really depicts the struggles of the entertainment industry; could not been tougher. The definition of "Love" and "Dreams" were well depicted and explained in the drama. In life, you win some and you lose some. I did feel that the drama was a little too long to my liking, but the casts did well in their role to play out each and every detail.I would like to applaud Fu Meng Bo for this role where he plays an antagonist, there were some parts where he really "wow-ed" me with his acting!

A bickering beginning
I took up this drama as it was said to be entertainment industry-related and also involves food...and it does! I had fun watching the ML (whose character is really cute) and the FL (who is a little persuasive) bicker throughout the episodes and how the plot started to evolve into their love story.I never watched any of the main leads' dramas so I had no thoughts on their acting, this was my first and I find it quite good, all their actions and their performances including the support roles. I especially liked the relationship between the ML and his nephew(this boy is adorable) it was heartwarming and really adorable.
There was a scene where the ML sang which was a very unique performance, something I have never seen(more like an edited or a short version of an imitation of a Kpop idol), and just got me laughing. I also find the second ML (Ran Xu)'s performance has improved quite a lot from his previous drama 'Love is Sweet' and I'm happy he got a good platform to perform.
The story is about a typical rich male falling in love with a poor female plot and a famous person falling for an ordinary person. It had many similarities with the drama 'Brightest Star in the Sky' such as the female lead becomes an artist manager for the ML, the male is really popular, second lead syndrome, both the love interests are successful, the FL helps and stays by the ML through the hardest points in his life, stories revolve around the entertainment industry, and the male is a very kind person from within.
I recommend watching it of you're interested in such a types of drama!!

Too long with too many side stories
I enjoyed the story line, mostly, kind of like BTS of agents and the tough nature of the entertainment industry. There's not much passion between the main leads although there's a bickering relationship which adds some humour. But, on the whole it's far too slow. Side-stories with too much detail drag you away from the leads. Having fast forwarded ep 14 & 15, I got to 16 and still nothing much was going on between the leads and I really didn't care for any of the other characters or their stories. You could see where it was all heading to but it was taking too long to get there. There's many better dramas out there.Was this review helpful to you?
Intéressant, avec des acteurs géniaux

Mais au-delà de cette relation de hate->love, on assiste à une description terrible du milieu de l'Entertainment. Entre les rivalités entre acteurs, les pressions pour obtenir le meilleur rôle, le plus de lignes, le jeu d'influence et les magouilles entre agences/manager/producteurs/réalisateurs, sans compter les journalistes et paparazzi,....La gloire a un prix terrifiant !!
Par contre, la série met en valeur tout le talent des acteurs. en particulier ❤❤❤ Fu Meng Bai qui fait une démonstration éclatante de ses capacités d'acteur.
La storyline est un peu complexe, mais l'écriture est cohérente (des indices sont donnés tout au long du drama, pour aboutir au dénouement final).
👎 :
L'évolution des personnages, leur comportement, est cependant discutable. Le comportement du frère (Su Xing ) infiniment puéril, agressif de façon irrationnelle, stupide, etc. est souvent insupportable et irréaliste. La rupture dans les derniers épisodes, en particulier, n'a aucun sens ! Le comportement de Minna n'est pas rationnel non plus !
Le drama souffre en outre des clichés habituels :
- multiples love▲
- coïncidences extrêmes et répétées
- Ecoute de conversations confidentielles (à 10 mètres ou derrière une porte fermée)
- les sacro-saintes "tumeur / amnésie / accident / maladie incurable"...
Il ne manque que le "white truck of doom" :)
Rien à dire sur les OST (qui ne sortent pas de la moyenne).
En bref, un début excellent, mais des longueurs sur la fin (j'ai zappé car j'avais hâte d'arriver à la Happy-end après tous ces obstacles !
Je vous le conseille cependant si vous voulez assister à de magnifiques performances d'acteur,
