Anata no Ban Desu (2019)

Both are really good thriller-comedies and share the same vibe. Both even have the perfect amount of mystery involved.

they were both filmed in the same way and have the same characteristics (probably because most jdramas are filmed this way). they both have the idea of a family/couple moving into a new a place which causes them a lot of trouble (by trouble i mean murder). even main posters are pretty much the same. they both also show many people in creepy ways. like they have characters who are different when you see them and when you walk away (if you get what i mean). plus, some characters have weird habits and objects so that leads to almost everyone becoming suspects.

the only difference is that anata no ban desu shows a whole block of flats and all the mysterious things that happen to each one and character/s living in them whilst shinhannin flag focuses on one family and the murders surrounding them.

also update : shota and nana (the main two from anata no ban desu) have a small guest appearance in episode 8 of shinhannin flag :)

Both are murder mystery

Chip-in sets in a family house, with each family member as a suspect. Anata no ban desu sets in an apartment building where all the tenants are suspects.

"Anata no Ban Desu" is not as creepy and scary as "Strangers from Hell" but they both take place at a residence where murders happen and mysteries have to be solved.

Similarities
-Characters move into their dream home to only be greeted by horror
-Sketchy tenants and no one is as they appear to be
-There are several murders that happen and every character is suspicious
-The main characters are endanger at certain points of the drama
-Several twists and turns
Differences
-Anata no Ban Desu is a crime drama/comedy and Happiness is a zombie drama/thriller
-The police are way more intelligent in Happiness than in Anata no Ban Desu
-The main characters in Happiness are in the wrong place at the wrong time but in Anata no Ban Desu is a little more ominous with characters participating in a murder-swap
In my opinion, Happiness is a way better story than Anata no Ban Desu but both dramas will definitely grab your attention to the end!!
