Amazing lesbian series
Amazing cast, superb storyline. Wish we have more TV series like this. I would like to be had more intimation between mother and daughter in law. Would prefer more television series like this around the globe. The sex relationship between in laws could be more interactive. Apart from very excellent storyline Mother decided to be with her family at last also very touching and caring. I love the mother in law character. She really did save her family at last. But further she should make extra maritial afair with that girl in the sequel. It's mmy only guess. Was this review helpful to you?
Just my thought
I think the story not that bad tho, I love how it shows the up side down in relationships. Some time it can bad and some time it can be good. It sweet and bitter in the same time. But while I watching it, I can predict some of part, cause the music sometime so obvious and and bad bgm. And I know the f*** his girlfriend fall in love with his mom. And actually it's not that bad.But generally I can say it fine to watch, and of course it up to you. You might be feel different, I mean some of you might feel good and some might be meh. The review doesn't defined everything, you need to watch.

Cheer's character is a lonely orphan. She gets fast-courted by a random guy at work, who is coming on her rather strong. He is portrayed by Indy Intad too lazy to shave his facial hair off fully. I debated the possibility his character had some kind of terminal illness and that's why he rushed so much (he is shown throwing up in her apartment, right before their fist kiss... yeah, yuck). They date for 1 year. She never gets introduced to his family, he only shows her some pictures. We as an audience already can see he lives in a rich house. The father sleeps with any young and pretty subordinate. The mother knows. She even complains about it to her son. Complains that HE is rarely at home, too (truth is we can see him trying to be with Cheer breakfast-lunch-dinner). So, after the 1 year dating anniversary, such is the house the guy brings his working class orphan girl in...
Of all my concerns, this is what I did NOT expect: the BIG SPOILER girl being totally smitten with her guy's mother, LOL. The portraying actress is 48, that's 16 years older than Cheer. She acts hostile towards Cheer's character. Who responds with doe eyes, not fighting back her attacks. The father tries to help keeping the conversation pleasant. Though he looks like he would like to molest his son's girlfriend first chance he gets (but we don't know yet whether he would actually do it or spare one exception for the sake of his son's feelings).
Then even the father starts getting impertinent. Apparently he lent money to his son to set up his bussiness. He openly discusses at the dinner table how he is concerned about the return of his investment. Just as the mother being openly bitter about her married life, this is another blatant error in parenting. Cheer's boyfriend is a wonder to be such a nice guy, then. If this is the atmosphere he grew up in, there HAS TO be some way this left a mark on him... Suddenly Cheer jumps off her seat and goes to argue with the mother in the other room. That ends the visit. So, our shy orphan finally met her boyfriends' parents: and they are both horrible parents. I wondered whether this story's lesson would be learning that what she deemed a curse - having no family - was actually a blessing? But the MDL tags suggests it's the tabboo bisexual relations... It must be just the alluring mother, then.
No matter what, the straight couple's perfect coziness is shattered. She begans to worry and he... Well, having two immature parents probably doesn't help any MAN. Then she goes with him and his parents on a family trip after which I would break-up with him in her place. That even without the "engagement" thing. But she... she has a drunken one night stand with his mum:D
I can imagine how this story originated, with Club Friday giving the chance to general public to come up with their whatever "love life" stories. People all try to sound interesting, so it was a matter of time someone would claim - no matter if they did really, or not - that they hooked up even with their boyfriend's mother. But that's not important, question is if this mini series makes a good watch.
I can't say that I had much fun. Despite the girlfriend being the solitary type with an unexplicable crush on the most peculiar subject, it was the boyfriend who was giving me the weirdo vibe. There she was, having the "taboo bisexual life experience", yet I kept having the feeling there was something seriously off about HIM. What I appreciated were the scenes shared by the two female lead actresses. They both did a good job, and only that made this worth watching. I expected it to be creepy seeing her in bed with her boyfriend's mother, but somehow it was creepy when she was with the boyfriend, instead. In scenes he was drunk, I felt like he was practically molesting her. I'm not sure if it was the character or Indy Intad. At any rate, what looked like an unhealthy relationship surprisingly was not the taboo one.
She mentiones that she is unsure whether she should continue dating him even before she gets deeper on with his mother. And after that happens, it doesn't make any sense that she still doesn't break up with him. It would be easy, they don't have a joint account, house and children, yet. And even if he found out about her and his mom later, it wouldn't be as harsh as him finding out she is "cheating on him with his own mother"... But that's probably precisely what the scriptwriters wanted for their "big dramatic" finish. And so this keeps dragging, with her telling him excuses like she "was with a client"... But then we see scenes of the three of them together and hear her voiceover stating she didn't feel bad dating the both of them the same time and that they were even happier, and I seriously got confused. Did I say the boyfriend was creepy? Now all three of them were creepy.
When the main heroine finally decides to break things off, she calls the wise aunties in Club Friday radio (off air) but they fail to advise her that she needs to do the break-up way more carefully, now that she delayed it for so long. Still, she was the only character in there whose personality was not immmature. No matter how illogical the script was, Cheer really did a good job. Her acting was definitely best of the cast. Both "parents" overplayed a bit and Indy Intad... actually looked psycho most of the time. I don't know what's up with him. In the end, I was glad this was 4 episode only, and whatever the ending, at least it shall come quickly.
