it's really hurt when i watched this drama

the story itself is clice and like makjang story... eventhough im not second-lead syndrom but i really like the chemistry between them and the main antagonist don't deserve the main protagonist!! i don't like how the writer potrays the main lead because they don't deserved the pain that they feel :""""""""

i don't like the ending and how tragic the main role are :" but i like their acting esp the main actor and believe me, you can't hold your tears when you tried to watch this drama:" i really love sabrina zhuang!

Overall, it was a good show for what it is but everyone is right about how it starts good, it’s pretty alright and then the writers crash and burn it in the end because they obviously hate society or whoever is watching it. Like the whole last few episodes was outrageously wild and I can’t believe so much literally happened; FOR WHAT? The story is good, girl falls in love with boy but ends up truly in love with his brother, basic. But the families are crazy, the girl that was around? Dumb. I would’ve fought her if I was in the show too. Dumb girl. Anyway, the acting was A1 and I think everyone did well. The show wasn’t terrible but wasn’t amazing so overall it’s not bad at all.

Why did they portray Shen Zhen like this !!!! I mean , i can feel her. Why doesn't anyone understand her . They could have shown her to be a lil polite . I really hoped for Zhen and Yelin to be together 😭😣 but why would this happen . They looked perfect together 💕 Btw i dont think Shen Zhen was a spoiled kid at all . She just wanted others to like her , be with her like Ruining . I really feel bad for Yelin and Shen .

Just finished watching this...its really good cz its story is different..this drama is kinda unique
But honestly I was a little disappointed cz their weren't much cute scenes between the main leads...
Then there was this horrifying twist which made me cry my eyes out🖤
In short the harder you'll laugh the harder you'll cry...
The ending was not bad,but it felt like it was too fast...as for the acting,it was amazing, the way they portrayed the personality changes of rui ning was excellent❤
I really need a ssn 2..and without a mofo character like shenzhen,lol!!
Its worth watching

I have 3 words in CAPITALS: MESSED-UP TRAGEDY

What started as a light and warmhearted youth drama spiraled into a traumatic tragedy. This tragedy came one after another without warning I was baffled and beyond horrified. At the time, I thought Xia Rui Ning will never get out of that hell. And she never did, no one could possibly do it. Although years later we see her as seemingly fine, she looked like a walking corpse. She was dead inside.

I cannot begin to imagine what could she have been feeling stepping into the Ye mansion. For years, she has been haunted by guilt, slowly killing bits of her until there's nothing left.

And not to mention Ye Miao. The woman he loved was saved by the person he loved most, and who loved him most at the cost of his life. Although his words were harsh to XRN, in his heart, he never blamed her...for if he was in his brother's place at that time, he would have done the same thing.

Their love was doomed from that point. But they never stopped loving each other, especially Ye Miao.

I don't know if I should root for their love or wish they should let go and find their own peace. I was not prepared for the sudden turn of events so it left my heart heavy after finishing the show.

I am glad XRN found out she was not the cause of her mother's death, otherwise, there really would be no chance for her to be happy in this lifetime.

Anyway, I started watching this show because of Fan Zhi Xin (huge crush on him). I'm glad I did because it might be one of his early works, but he did exceptionally well.

I hope to see more of his lead roles in the future.

overdramatic as hell (very minor spoilers)

i literally made this account just to warn y'all about this drama. if you like melodrama to the point that your anxiety levels are spiking, this is for you. lol im not even being sarcastic, ik some people like that, but if you're into really fluffy nice dramas this is NOT FOR YOU!! the beginning is decent enough but there is consistently a couple characters who try to sabotage everything, and there generally aren't any really satisfying moments where they are exposed.

cons: i have major problems with some choices the writers made. they make the poor character the villain, as if poor people aren't demonized enough in society, and treat mental health really weirdly. the bad people basically don't get what's coming to them, and misunderstandings are not usually clarified. there is some casual homophobia which is standard in a lot of dramas i've seen but like... just a warning.

pros: the one good thing about this drama was that the acting wasn't bad! i like most of the leads, though found a couple characters really annoying at the beginning, and the acting for the villains was also pretty good, considering i wanted to scream at them the whole time (it was convincing!) also there were some really funny moments that made me laugh out loud, so thank you writers for the moments of sorely needed comic relief

i hope this helps y'all know if this drama is or isn't for you! happy watching!! <3 :D

Boring plot. Misunderstanding of ML.

Overall, I still do not know who is the ML. Ye Miao and Ye Lin, which?! I’ve watched it till episode 7 and still haven’t understood the plot ;w; maybe its just because of my slow understanding of shows HAHA. Will watch this show if the plot was more interesting.
Okay characters, 郎才女貌. I’ve actually mixed up who is who. SZ is just nah. Below average. Thought her character would be interesting but the introduction of her already made me smh. I think the characters need more time to present their personalites but until ep. 7, I have yet to know them all.
Unfortunately I dropped this show due to the misunderstandings of the ML and also the show. Like hello, the plot isn’t that interesting and the FL had a crush on Ye Lin but Ye Lin doesn’t like her and Ye Miao ends up “together” with her? Erm…not my cup of tea. I read the reviews in MDL and it all says ep. 21, you will cry buckets. When I saw that, that was kinda depressing. From comedy to tragedy? Not my cup of tea again. I hope the story can be expressed in a more understandable manner and also have a clear mind of who and who is the ML. I searched MDL and it says “Ye Lin” main role. “Ye Miao” main role. And the FL duh. Of course FL is easy to see. The first part when they started the show was all about her already. I don’t see how Ye Miao and Ye Lin is both the male lead. Maybe when someone sees this, you guys can tell me if Ye Miao or Ye Lin is the male lead. I am confused as heck now. Sadly I dropped this show and decided to go back to k-dramas.
Last time, my mom recommended me to watch “Meteor Garden” ( yes it’s a very nice show you should go and watch it ) and I started watching C-dramas. Meteor Garden 2018 was my first C-drama and it left me a good impression. So as the months go on, there was this “lockdown” in my country and I had to stay home. Guess I had to watch dramas now. I watched A Love So Beautiful and so on and so forth. Those didn’t disappoint me. However, I feel disappointed watching C-dramas on youtube ( this is not personal attack okay… ). And then I watched k-dramas as usual and came across this show, “Love me like mountains and oceans.” I hoped it was a good show. Guess not, it kinda left me a bad impression on C-dramas again. Yes but, I still love C-dramas okay.
Well in conclusion, this show made me have a confusion of who and who is the ML, not very interesting plot. Nice characters portrayed in this show. Overall I would give it a 9.5/10 if all these points were hit. Hopefully there will be a season 2 and the character development would be clear for us viewers!
