Still shaky...

Hmmm, I'm still very hit and miss with this drama...just not feeling the love vibes/chemistry between Tae-eul and Lee-gon. They are both amazingly talented when it comes to acting as I've seen their previous works, but here it feels like it jumps from strangers with a bit of curiosity to suddenly deep feelings for each other...just feels so odd, like that first kiss seemed completely out of the blue to me,even by kdrama standards, but hey could just be me. Gon's personality seems too calm as well, tho seeing as he's playing a modern day King, I can understand the need to come across as composed all the time. Still, feels lacklustre...something missing.Loving Do-hwan's scenes switching from one personality type to the other, wowzers, such a star! <3Hats off for the soundtrack too. Really enjoying the music. Fits well. Story wise, well let's see what unfurls...

Cross the line.

All the pieces are starting to come together.... finally. I enjoyed rhis episode.

I got to see Lee Gon's King-ly side and more of PM Koo's awesomeness. (I love her character and I'd love her more if she wasnt after Lee Gon).

"It's harder to cross this line, that it is to cross universes." Gosh. Favourite quote from this episode.

Our Time Was Short But Sweet...Missing You My King

Dating continues as opening of this episode. After the sweetest conversation they had using their fingers and palms aboard the King's helicopter the date followed by Lee Gon cooking steak and rice in a pot for our leading lady, Tae Eul. He then showed her the ID he acquired 25 years ago. Tae Eul confirmed that it was indeed hers but what does this confirmed? She still believes that the earth is flat. Their time together was short lived as a sign of a would-be war with Japan is brewing on the seas of the Kingdom of Corea. At least Tae Eul gets to see her Majesty in navy uniform with a promise that she will wait for him to come back. The scene aboard the Yi Sun-Sin Destroyer was indeed epic. I thought I was watching the movie Battleship. In this scene, his Majesty King Lee Gon exhibited his skill in the art of war. Him being a mathematician was a great advantage! Quite a scene on this one. Before leaving the Kingdom of Corea, Tae Eul bought a an imaginary flower seed from KOC and planted it on the place between 1 and 0. Lee Gon was skeptic as flowers don't bloom in that place ( the scientist that he is ) but Tae Eul contradicted that we will never know unless somebody tries. I believe this scene right here would have a greater impact in the next episodes to come. She is in fact hopeful in a very unpredictable world and relationship. She is willing to invest amidst uncertainties. Meanwhile, back in Tae Eul's world, where her father hardly noticed her absence, her detective life must go on. It looks like her earth is a bit rounder this time. Subsequently, she made a quite disturbing discovery that a current case she is working on seems to intertwined with the world she just left from. It took awhile for Lee Gon to come back to her thus the reason for her longing for him. Talk about a long distance relationship when you both belong to only one universe. This love story is quite a whole new level of long distance relationship. This episode ended with a very warm embrace from both our main characters.

His hot side.

It was totally stunning in the scene where he's cooking for Tae Eul and when he's command the army to give warning attack on Japan's aegis.

Until further notice, I’m dropping this…

Until further notice, I’m dropping this. The writing is painfully sloppy and too clunky to continue! Most characters aren’t fully realized or even interesting. U Dohwan and Jeong Eunchae have the most compelling roles, but one is underutilized and the other is unlikeable. Furthermore, the chemistry between the leads is completely absent. “Goblin” is one of my all-time favorites, but I cannot help but come to the conclusion the actors—not the writing—made it special. The camaraderie betweenGong Yu and I Donguk and their ability to imbue playfulness and personality into characters made that drama magical. I still plan to give Kim Eunsuk’s future dramas a chance, but I won’t anticipate them anymore. There are far more talented and interesting writers out there whose work is more to my taste.

Five Stars

I’m loving every bit of it! It makes me curious, makes me think, lots of flatters and giggles and too excited!!! I don’t get why others wants the romance straight away!!! It needs to start somewhere and gradually...hello?!? They expect them to jump in bed straight away lol. Too bad I have to wait for another week...the excitements are killing me! OMG

Five Stars

The king Ethernal Monarch drama is quite expensive...you can tell with the cinematography and shoot! It proves they have spend a lot of money just to make every scenes beautiful and suites what was ask for. I love it! Plus the romance between the king and Tae-eul is starting...she is starting to like the king cause it shows how she’s missing him. I don’t get how others don’t see it. It’s just episode 6, common give them a break. What romance are you expecting?!? Of course it needs to start somewhere...duh!!! OMG I can’t sleep til the next episode is aired!

Five Stars

Loving this episode...watched it 4 times...the tension is there between prime minister and Tae-eul. I love how the king flatters with simple things and how he cooks for her. Love the potential war scenes as well how he commanded and show his power. His uncle finally confess but I think he was already got switched! She missed the king so much and run when he went back to see her...too bad I have to wait another week lol

chop off unecessary scenes

war scenes are totally unnecessary i would have accepted it if they were on 1st or second episodes to show off king greatness still the romance part is lacking something even though they kissed and hugged it looks like forced one to me and people who rated episodes 7-10 do you have any special skills to fore-see future..
