An interesting character whose backstory is painful but simultaneously worth watching
When I watched this special, I hadn't seen the second film yet. But Oh My God! This special has sold well the character of Alice, who I expect to have a great role in the film.And before I forget, don't watch this special if you haven't watched the special 'Fukunaga VS Yokoya.' The outcome of that will be spoiled. Also, some scenes from the film are occasionally shown.
Back to the special episodes, as I said, it does well convey how special Alice is. Come to think of it. Alice's story has a parallel with Akiyama's story structurally. It is unfortunate that the special for Akiyama's backstory is dogshit and not worth watching. I can only wish that the care and production made for Alice were done for Akiyama's backstory.
