The complicated love lives of a family. Gyo is an author in a common law marriage with a model, who threatens him with separation unless he cuts his financially dependent mother off. Urako, his mother, has been in a long-time affair with a married man. One of his sisters, Momoko, is married to a rich older man but is in love with her husband's cousin.
