Ballad of Seo Dong

Both are set in baekje. KDSBH is set before BOSD. Both have jo hyun jae. historical romance. KDSBH has a bit more idol drama vibes. Both have good music for the most part.

both are historical dramas, but JITP is set much later in the 1500s. If you like female centered dramas, you'll like this one. It is a classic.

Great OST. occurs during 3 kingdoms period. beautiful cast & powerful acting.
both shows emphasize about 3rd prince(in jumong) OR 4th prince (in seodongyo) who strive to become king against all odds.

its a romance, conspiracy just like all the other great ones.. love historical dramas with several extra romance couples in it. they just add to the story and make you have hope for the main actors! ^_^

The story of the prince that grows as a commoner without knowing his identity is very very similar. He lives a very hard life. At some point, he gets kicked to the enemy’s country. He also falls for a woman from the enemy. Bonds with his real brother without knowing whom he is. In both dramas, the fate of many characters around him is the same. At the end, becomes the king (according to historical facts).
