An omnibus horror film comprised of six shorts about fragments from nightmares. > Story 1: Shadowgraph/ Utsushie(うつしえ) [Director: Sakamoto Keiji] A maid shows up at a deserted inn closed for the off-season gets freaked out when she hears the owner talking to someone all by himself. She gets even more disturbed by a picture hanging in the room that has vestiges of a little girl who she's seen before. > Story 2: House the Child Lives/ Ko no Hisomu Ie (子の棲む家) [Director: Kikushima Toshiaki] Housewife Miri is living in tough financial circumstances and constantly bickers with her husband and even hits her daughter. One day stressed-out Miri finds a single-family home being offered for cheap in the suburbs and becomes obsessed with the property, almost like it is sucking her in. > Story 3: Gaze of 36℃/ 36 do no Shisen (36℃の視線) [Director: Sannomiya Eiko] A hot and muggy afternoon. A girl living by herself naps in the oppressive heat with the window open and senses that someone has come in through the window. But, she is overcome by sleep paralysis and can't move. After that, she is hassled by a bizarre door-to-door salesperson. > Story 4: Confinement/ Yuhei Confinement (幽閉 confinement) [Director: Kamei Toru] Akari has been confined in a decrepit room. She holds a doll in one hand. She has no idea who has confined her or for what purpose, and she gradually loses her sanity as the only thing that changes is the passage of time. > Story 5: Iwa (岩) [Director: Kunisawa Minoru] A man and a woman huddle together in a room strewn with garbage. They share profound love for each other amidst their squalid living conditions. However, the man can't bring himself to love the spiteful expression on the woman's face and hits her, and she comes to seek out his violence. > Story 6: Hinageshi (ひなげし) [Director: Sakamoto Keiji] A woman whose husband has died spends her life caring for her bedbound mother-in-law.
