In the last episode I would have preferred if the last scene would have been a kissing scene because the hug yes it means a lot but I would have wanted to be left with a kissing scene cause it would have showed the love they had between them than just a long hug in the end cause it was built up to that moment they meet at the end to still be happy but a little disappointed but that’s just my point
Ignore the last part it said I need 500 characters and that’s too long to write for me

Was a good show.

I have seen this twice now. First time I skipped a few ending episodes. I picked up real fast what had happened. The second time watching, I watched all of it. Sometimes I skip episodes because I am to impatient to know the outcome of the show. Other times I get bored and just want to know how it ends. This one was because I was to impatient to find out what happened!? I know bad me!?

The story was good. I really liked the character development. Yi Han was like a kid in his love for his manager but grow more mature with You You. I liked that. Trust me it was believable... I feel like I am still raising my hubby after 21 yrs of marriage??! If there is one complaint and the only reason why I marked the story down was because of the ending. I say it over and over but I know it will not change... please don’t make the main couples coming back together the LAST 3-10 minutes of the show!!! Please give us more of them and their happy ending! That is my BIGGEST pet peeve with these shows.

Actors did a great job. I really thought they made the story perfect.

Rewatch? Uh ya!

Character growth? Maybe

This series has a lot of pros and cons but I enjoyed it. If you like young love and have some time to burn. This might be good for you.

I've read some reviews that thought the ML was too immature. Quite frankly, he did a great job. It's his character, it's why his manager didn't have any romantic feelings for him. why he had a lot of toys in the background, and all the stuff in his house, was about him. He portrays an actor, he needed to be full of himself and he did a great job. For those that wanted growth. He had it, he was learning and in the end, he cared more about everyone else than his career.

For the FL, i had wanted to like her but had the most difficult time doing so. My annoyance was 40% money-driven, 50% for her 'nail art'. She was obsessed with money and she had a good reason but between that and her drive for this nail art thingy kinda irked me. Then blowing everything out of proportion while the ML admitted his faults. So honestly, I couldn't get into the FL. I feel there could have been other actresses that could have played this role with so much more depth. Meh, I wasn't feeling her.

Although the characters could have had a larger part. I like the way they intertwined with one another. Overall, I liked it. It was a good distraction.

average-below

ep19 rn
story: is pretty common nothing really special
writing: honestly it wasnt so good...kinda disappointing um a lot could have improved

charaters: not so great either it was all over the place and felt that they were lazy or didnt rlly care about the relationships, backgrounds, etc it was just rlly messing

acting: it was alright but there were a lot of rlly cringy parts and was just average

songs: dont rlly ahve high standards usually but i think it was missing a bit of emotions ig it was alr/ pretty good?

overall: if u decide u dont wanna watch this drama then its alright cause its not rlly worth it either if u do watch it dont expect a miracle to happen like "omg all of a sudden it became a good drama unlike some of the reviews say" cause no it just aint gonna happen. this is a pass and u wont miss so its actually good if u dont watch this drama unless u rllllllyyyyy bored or just for no reason or just want (simple) a little break from all the dramas with so much but even if its simple i still would expect effort put into it. so only recommend if u wanna see for yourself

*spoiler alert* ok so im currently watching ep 20 and to the part where he saw her in her old house and this is legit getting me rlly upset like hes not telling her the truth that he threw the invitation card away like he doesnt even know how important it is to her.
and i wanna point out yezi's bf (yezi is FL friend/colleague) something is wrong with his character is he a bad person? now i wished that every character had a change and a improvement but dude all the "character development" of the ML is down the drain. and im just not sure if their relation is strong or real real...give up the 7 rating so i realized ive been a little more rating a lil lower than my old slef

For those who have doubts!

I had lots of doubts before I decided to give this drama a go. First, the plot is old and has been recycled a lot, I was like, what is that something new that they will add to this drama? Second, how can I unsee Zhang Yu Jian as Yan Mo? Third, I really hate Xu Xiao Nuo's character from 'About is Love' and its hard to separate her from that because I'm afraid that she'll be the same pushover from that drama. Nevertheless, I still gave this a try since I'm a sucker for contract marriage plot, multiple couples/side stories, and Kido Gao whom I liked after 'The Kings Avatar'. Well, here is my quick review of the first 3 episodes.

Plot- as I've said earlier, nothing new that the guy is rich and that the girl is struggling (at least she's not dirt poor, she has a nice apartment, decent job that pays well, and ample savings), nothing new that the guy is in love with someone else, but the turnaround was that accident that started it all. Its cute that the first two times they met, it was Youyou who is saving Yi Han. Their contract marriage is more like a 'saving face' marriage for Yi Han, although Youyou has always liked Yi Han as a singer, but the marriage is more advantangeous to the guy. But what I'm really excited to see are the two other couples. One is Yi Han's manager aka his first love who is totally oblivious that her talent has been harboring feelings for her, and Li Tian Nuo's aka Youyou's childhood friend who has always liked her. I like to see how their love story will intertwine with Yi Han and Youyou.

Acting- It was quite easy to unsee Yu Jian as Yan Mo because he acts well. It was refreshing to see him smile and just be casual. Moreover, my favorite line, so far, of Yi Han are those words he said before he proposed to Youyou while in his car, it was really sweet coated with a hint of desperation. Youyou isn't that irritating, she's quite feisty actually and I hope she will not lose that zeal. I like Yi Han's manager, Kan Di, too. She's such a femme fatale as a manager, but weak when it comes to love. I would like to see how she'll react when she realized Yi Han's true feelings. The other characters weren't too significant yet like Ran Zi Shu and her future boy toy.

Verdict- the first 8 episodes was easy to watch, there's a right amount of comedy and drama, a bit of backstory for us to have a glimpse of Youyou and Yi Han's past, and some swoon-worthy moments to highlight our OTP. Our OTP's chemistry is still starting, there's fizzle, it needs a bit more push, but they are going in the right direction. I will continue to watch this to see the growth of our 1st and 2nd couple, but if it gets overly dramatic or draggy, will drop this.

Surprisingly good

The good:
It seems, at first, a typical cliche plot and you think it might have many cringy scenes when you watch the first episode... but the more you watch, the better it gets.
The ML - the actor play this character nicely. The FL is feisty at times which I love. She has her own opinions.

I adore the banter between the FL and ML, and also how she tries to give him really good advice sometimes. Like how to pursue someone. Or when he had a bad day at work, and she told him its alright - it didn't feel fake, the dialogue was amazing. They have good chemistry too, after they realize their feelings.

I also like the side characters. Kan Di knows whats wrong and what's right. She knows how to do her job right. The director is professional and kind. He is a sweet supporting character for the FL. The brother and his gf - their relationship develops nicely too.

I usually don't pay attention to OSTs but the song here is really sweet and catchy too.

The bad: I really hope they don't add anymore "saving the FL" scenes. But I think there was only one scene like that (so far).

Overall: The plot is really good but sometimes it falters. I really love most of the characters though, and the dialogue is reasonable. I hope it continues to be good after episode 12 too.

EDIT: I finished it. The ending kinda drags on. And it doesn't make sense. I'll just reminisce about the beginning.
