Tracking Series

I must write that this drama was good.. Some who are thinking of watching this drama don't hesitate, because when I think of myself, I also thought this drama would be a waste of time.. But when I put it on, I didn't like it, or rather how to write it. It was weird rather such a survival of 1 and 2 episodes.. But in episode three, it's getting quite interesting. And everything is starting to develop mainly the relationship between the main actors..
So do not hesitate to wait until 3 episodes and then it all begins to develop, but what I probably did not like was the end.. Yes, the end is over, but I'd put even more of their scenes together.
Perhaps my review helped you.

This is the second drama I've seen with Zhang Yu Jian as lead after liking him in Le Coup De Foudre.

The story is not really that original since they had adapted some romcom troupes. This is a story of a famous actor who got into a marriage with a nail artist when they were a dating scandal together in order to mask his feelings for his manager agent. They had a contract marriage and cohabited. But of course in romcom land, contract marriages end up with the leads being in love with each other, right? That's what happened here too. I didn't quite like the ending though since I think it was too rushed and the leads should've been given the ending they deserve. Though it was good that it had the hint that the ending was a happy one. This one had funny moments and I'm glad that Zhang Yu Jian deviated from his stoic character in LCDF.

This review may contain spoilers

Pretty good beginning, but not so good ending.

Note: The spoilers aren't specific details, but just sort of the formatting and how the story flows.

STORY--------------------------------
I think what really brought my rating for this drama down was the very end. The beginning was fairly good, but there isn't that much of the drama with them being together for real, before they split up. The end upset me the most, when they split for 1 whole year, and reunited in the last 5 minutes of the drama, ending on a hug and fireworks.

ACTING/CAST----------------------
I think the female lead did an excellent job, and she should be featured in more dramas. The male lead did an okay job, but I think the female lead did better. He was a little unnatural at some parts, but he was good during the vulnerable scenes.

MUSIC--------------------------------
I only remember one song the most from the drama, and couldn't remember the rest. One thing that I noticed, is that I didn't search for the full OST for this drama after I was finished watching. So I guess only one song that I remember was good.

REWATCH VALUE-----------------
Based on what my thoughts were about the story, I personally wouldn't rewatch it. I may rewatch a few scenes, but definitely not the whole drama.

OVERALL----------------------------
It was good from the beginning to middle, and appreciate the effort put into this drama. I wish there was a longer ending, and because of this disappointment, I don't even think many watchers want a part two of this, and would rather move on to a new drama. I'm not sure if I would recommend this to anyone, but the acting and cast is good.

This was a nice drama!

I liked how their relationship gradually changed from contract couple to a real one. The drama showed some realistic problems a couple of a celebrity and a common person would have. The episodes with their real married couple life were my favorite. There were some very romantic and some very funny moments!I liked how the male lead's character progressed through his relationship with the female lead and he became more mature. The only thing that really annoyed me was the last episodes because what happened makes no sense for me. Generally speaking I would recommend this drama.

I really enjoyed watching the drama until they had the final conflict towards the end. I just feel like it didn't end in such a way that us viewers would have a proper closure. The guy didn't have much character development and really only showed a more mature side and selfless side of him just at the last episode. Moreover, the method he chose, in facing the conflict, was to disappear... (Instead of facing it together with the girl). Also, I feel like the ending was too rushed! We didn't even witness a proper implementation of justice against the bad guys... Like is the scandal really that big that the couple really had to separate from one another? Yes, maybe it was his way of letting the girl go to pursue her dreams without his hindrance to me, it just seemed impractical! I started being annoyed and confused whether I loved the drama or not when Yi Han threw the girl's invitation card.... Like why would he do that?! He so easily believed the comments of the guy who told him that she would leave to study and didn't have enough trust to ask her about it... He was so immature throughout the whole drama (sigh...). We weren't able to see his actual growth as a person and was only given a glimpse of it in what? the last 3 minutes of the final episode?!

Speaking of the good point, I did enjoy their progression from a fake couple to actually being a real couple. Yi Han's confession was just oh so heart melting!!! I loved the girl's sense of independence and loved how she was very proud of what she is doing in life!

The drama had a really strong start but for me it just fell flat towards the end. I didn't even have separation anxiety with this drama. I guess I am giving it this rating cause I did enjoy it at some point and couldn't stop watching! There were a lot of funny scenes that I know many will enjoy!!!

" Please love me " was just cute enough.

There were some elements that gave this drama an entertaining quality, like the chemistry of the couple and their unique characters, that, somehow, worked well together. They did have some adorable moments too. And, the female lead was pretty dynamic and she matched well with the immature male lead. Their cat and dof dynamics were over a bit too soon, however. The trop with the lost brother was a bit messy, as well as the missing mother, whose story wasn't well concluded. The last part was a bit annoying too, as the male lead's decision was way off when it came to his relationship with his partner. Still, the rest of the drama was interesting enough. The second couple, however, had only a few scenes, though they were cute. Finally, the performances were pretty good.

So, overall, six and a half out of ten.

Turn off brain then press play

This is a story that tells people that whatever you wanna do with your life do not become a celebrity as the slightest hick up and you may go from riches to rags or have to marry a person you barley know.

The story Itself was not all bad but my oh my how much I wanted to shake some sense in to the leads, the story, the people around them as nothing made any sense at all.

And by nothing I mean nothing, as about 90% of the supposedly grown up characters act like gullible teens, no wait to say teens would be an insult to teens out there as I am sure most teens would be able to make better choices than the people in this show.

The male lead is immature, self centred, controlling and is the cling in clingy... perfect to play with and honestly there is no need for an elaborate plot to mess with him as he basically would fall for anything.

The female lead has her smart moments but she too is so easy to trick it is a miracle that she survived past puberty. She has her moments and is not all bad, but I did hope for the two to get a divorce, preferably on her terms where she travelled the world and either stayed single or got together with basically any human being accept for the male lead of this drama. I would probably have gotten SLS in the beginning of the drama as the female lead experienced som negative character development ( was better in the beginning) and the second male lead was great in every way possible including giving us one hell of a bromance... But I found myself thinking he deserved a lot better, and would make a much better couple with the second female lead. As those two where probably the only 2 characters that made any kind of sense (most of the time), and were definitely more lead material than the leads.

So if you are going to watch this you must first love your cliches even more than I love em and trust me I love my cliches a lot but you must also be able tor completely turn off your brain and look past a whole lot of nonsense so you can focus on the good stuff because yes even if I am mostly complaining about the bad stuff in this drama there are as mentioned a bunch of my beloved cliches, some pretty good kisses and a whole lot of lovely bickering.

This is my first time doing my review. I first started watching this series on wetv app without any expectations but I'm so happy I really enjoyed the series!

First, the storyline is simple that focuses on the love story of the main leads and their supporting leads. I just wish that they showed us more on how Yi Han works in the industry. I can help to pause when Yi Han simple gestures towards Youyou is making my heart full with love. I also love that Youyou is a manicurist, we were able to see a glimpse of the life of a manicurist. With a lot of dramas I've watched, I've seen a lot of typical female leads who usually works in business industry. I also think Youyou has a flat character arc in the series but it's just fine with me because they were able to highlight Yi Han's character development.

I also fell in love with Kan Di and Tian Nuo blooming romance. I personally love how they portray Kan Di and even I'm a girl, I really appreciate her beauty. She's independent, smart, and a strong woman. Her charisma made me want to watch more. I just wish they gave us more screen time of their relationship especially on the last episode. I'm so curious what happened after. Tian Nuo is also a charm, he's serious type character makes him more matched to Kan Di. I just wish to see them in another drama as main leads.

Of course, the plot itself is not perfect. There were parts where I thought that could be better but anyway, if you're thinking whether to watch this or not, GIVE IT A TRY!

I finally made an account on this website, and it was to write about how much I hate this show! tbh I can't remember the music so I couldn't rate the music. The show is a mess though. I get that the actors are talented, but the characters suck so much. The ML is so immature and annoying and that never gets fixed. He LITERALLY ends up stopping the FL from pursuing her dreams, and somehow still gets mad at her when she finds out. It does not portray a healthy relationship. There is nothing cute about an adult being so immature and entitled.

I really felt the need to post something here. I've just finished the drama just now, 2:50 AM May, 2020. At first this drama has been pending on my watch list, as I was very reluctant to watch it and take the risk. I can't deny, I have been very affected with the few comments here and some reviews I've read that, this is not that good. I agree, the drama has the typical cdrama plot, it also has it's own number of clichés and cringey stuffs. We can compare this to so many dramas out there that has waaaay better story lines.

And now as I was waiting for other dramas that I really really want to watch, but isn't subbed yet. I tried this, and take a nose dive to see what comes for me. I didn't expected so much, bcs of the prejudice I had in my mind for the show and I know every episode will be predictable. I even knew, Zhang Yujian (from Le Coup de Foudre (which is my number 1 cdrama of all) and Xu Xiao Nuo (from About Is Love).

Xu Xiao Nuo, I have to say I was really annoyed with her character in About Is Love, I always think of her as unreasonable and very loud. I thought in here, I would feel the same with her, but I didn't, thank god I don't want to hate her for every role that she portrays. On the other hand, I didn't expect Yujian had a 180° turn from his role in Le Coup de Foudre, I have to praise him for being Yan Mo there cause I was really moved by him, I think he is a great actor and he really proved that he is versatile. He's character here as Yi Han, probably annoyed many of you, cause of his immature ways of facing problems and temper. I agree, but he really did a good job portraying a struggling and selfish actor. I felt Yi Han's emotions very well, I understood his way of thinking and his full character development for the sake of his wife. At the last 4 episodes honestly I cried whenever it was Yi Han's scene, I felt his sadness there. I even want to hug him right there, cause Yujian really did great.

The plot still had it's flaws, and some of you hated the way it ended. Me too!!!! Like, wtf can't they let another episode for this couple to be happy??? Why did the last 4 episodes made their relationship miserable? But i finally understood it, they were already married, we already saw their life, the ugliness and the joy in it. But I guess, it was really too quick for them and didn't have the time to improve themselves before coming in a serious relationship, and that's what the author gave us. The 2 leads should improve themselves first and fix their personal issues and build their self esteem so that when they comeback with each other, they can face every problems with a better understanding. Idk, that's how I analyze what happened in the last episodes.

The Music is just SO GREAT. I guess what really made me cry throughout the last 4 episodes were the sad songs played. I love both the opening and the exit songs.

I felt unsatisfied with the ending, yet I'm happy that they end up with each other. And I'm very happy that I watched this.

All in all I will give 8.5 stars mainly bcs I love Zhang Yujian as Yi Han and I also love the OSTs.

amazing ost but boring plot + ending was disappointing

tbh i think this drama had the potential to be really good but sadly the execution wasnt very good. i considered dropping it around ep18 but i thought i might as well finish it since i was nearly finished with it anyways.
the lead characters annoyed me, the male lead was too childish and the female lead was too … impulsive and ungrateful / money hungry ngl , i think there was potential for there to be character development but we didnt really see any until the very end - and this was rushed. the last episode was disappointing since it was very rushed and random, as though the writers ran out of ideas and just thought ‘hey lets just make it a rushed happy ending’.

however, i loved kandi’s character, shes an amazing actress and sooo beautiful, mainly kept going because of her.

also the ost is really good i love it a lot

overall, the plot of this drama is nothing special , the acting itself was good and the ost was great, but was boring to watch in the end tbh.

"... but a life that injects their soul into a role... is eternal.."

Not sure how did this drama suddenly played on my list, but I let my self drawnn from the first episodeto the last episode. Although at first I saw it's as typical of Full House, but I think this much better than Full House. The character is so bold and the story about top star's problem and struggle as newly wed is so natural.
I really can't resist it, I love this drama very much.

Yihan is emotional singer and actor who's reaching his career after 10 years hard works. Youy You is money-minded and self-contained Manicurist. Accident has pushed them to hand in hand to save Yihan's career. From marital contract to finally fall in love and learn each other to keep the love.
How they hang on their love until after 2 years after Yi Han's devastating career and Pei You You's speech on behalf Yi Han's Award as Best Supporting Artist, has become lovely ending.

The scoring are perfect and the songs are all good.

Worth to re-watched :)
