Gao Xi was upset about Gu Wei and Lin Zhi Xiao being a couple. She came to visit Gu Wei. Gu Wei felt sorry for how Gao Xi felt, but honestly told her that he's always seen her as a friend. Gao Xi couldn't believe her feelings had been one-sided all along.

The Oath of Love Episode 16 Reactions
Hands down this confession scene is one of my all time favourites (11:09-17:49) I have already watched it too many times. Then the follow up ME TOO! by LZX was adorable. I even admire the next let down scene. Great writing and acting by all.
