The Search (2009)

Both films focus on traditional music - Song of the Phoenix talks about playing the suona, and The Search tells the story of a film director and his search for authentic Tibetan Opera.

Both films tell the story of directors looking for authentic musical artists - in The Search they are looking for someone to perform Tibetan Opera Drimé Kunden, and in The Pluto Moment for someone to sing Tale of Darkness.

Traditional Tibetan opera is central to both of these films; Atak Lhamo for Lhamo and Skalbe; Drimé Kunden for The Search.
