I didn't really have many expectations, as I have seen pilot/cabin crew themed dramas before, but I thoroughly enjoyed this. Considering it was a special, the pacing was quite fast, thus there was no time for character development or exploration, but I don't think that took away from the story at all.

The acting by each male lead was good enough. Nagase Ren is doing a pretty decent job, and his character was likeable. Kitamura Takumi was okay here, I feel I have seen better roles from him, but he delivered all the same. The supporting cast was great too, especially Micchan and Reiko. I really appreciated their roles. The female lead (Kuroshima Yuina) who I remember from The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, I felt like she was able to show a slightly different side to her, but I don't know if her performance was memorable enough.

Overall, I enjoyed the little moments between the male leads, the sentimental aspects, and the overall 'persevering' vibe the story gave me. It's a decent watch.

I actually thought that this is a movie that will air next year (2020) but it seems that I wasn’t reading the news on my twitter feed. [this review is written on my tumblr blog in 2019]

The four young men gave a refreshing look on the story. Nagase Ren’s acting is flawless and his smiling face is radiantly shining. Kimura Takumi’s eyes aren’t there without a reason – I need to justify this (even just once!).

Kuroshima Yuina. The moment she made her appearance, I kept on thinking that she really looks familiar. It took me a while before I realize. orz

Final thoughts:
I really like the story a lot.
One thing that I’ve learned is that there are lots of people involved in one flight.

P.S.: Kuroshima Yuina has now been paired in another Johnny’s idol. xDD

This was great!
I didn't go into this expecting all too much because I've never seen extras before.

But I have to say I truly enjoyed this extra, or should I say movie?
Even though I've never flown before and even though I don't have a particular interest regarding airplanes or air transportation jobs, this drama made made me appreciate the character's working hard to become ca's (or should I see cc's like the film corrects me?)

This movie doesn't only challenge stereotypes regarding air transportation jobs, by introducing 4 young guys who are cc's in training, but also a female copilot in training! And the movie leaves you with a farm fuzzy feeling that I feel glad
after having watched not the best dramas recently :)

So I truly recommend this one it's a truly enjoyable watch!
