Three little sisters (4-year-old Fenfen, 6-year-old Zhenzhen and 10-year-old Yingying) live alone in a small village located at 3200 m. in the south-western region of Yunnan. The three girls spend their time in the fields or wandering around the village. Because their aunt has difficulty in maintaining girls, her father returns to the village from the city, where he went to look for work. At first his father is determined to take all three girls with him to the city; but he agrees to leave the oldest in the village, at his grandfather's house. Edit Translation
