It’s a stylish film that feels quite grown up and mature, especially compared to a lot of romantic Chinese and Korean dramas. The FL was great and the subtle camera angles made it more interesting to watch. The first episode hooks you and the ML and FL have great chemistry. The SFL plays her role well as she just doesn’t seem quite as good as the FL.
I also liked the portrayal of friendship which clearly changed over time and became one sided. When someone isn’t secure in themselves, they can be unhappy with others and look to bring them down. It would of been good to learn more about each of the characters as I feel there could have been more to say.

The story was simple, and predictable, not necessarily in bad way, it was just clear who were the bad guys and we only watched them get punished.
Acting and Camera though? OOF. Supreb. I loved the expressions Na Na & Roo Mi made every time they clashed. whether in the past or the current timeline.
Music. As for the soundtracks, most notable was Sunmi's Gotta Go, but the music they used in the ambience was alright too.
P.S: I hope this is a great kickstart for Hani's acting career.

It's hidden enough & it's almost a gem..
In regular kdrama terms this is about 4 episodes long and that is just the right amount for this kind of story. Had this been extended to 16, I'm sure it would have been an unwatchable makjang show for me.The acting is good (Hani is excellent), the chemistry between the leads is also fine. There is not much fluff, but the romance is really realistic . The plot itself is quite juvenile & silly, but due to the short length it's quite bearable, though I think the show would've been better if the ex stayed away in the current timeline. The whole bartender thing is quite unique as far as kdramas go and even the toxic sismance is interesting.
XX is totally worth watching!

Intereting shortwatch
I watched this drama in-between my drama slump since it's short (with ten eps of 20-25 min each).I didn't have much expectations but just knew that Hani is in it (thumbs up) and that it would have a mysterious vibe (wasn't mysterieus at all but nonetheless a interesting shortwatch).I particularly like some of the badass ost's (Sunmi - Gotta Go). The story and acting were pretty good for such a short drama. If you are doubting, just give it a go. Just be aware it isn't particularly a light (fluffy) drama like a lot of the short ones.

REVENGE IS SWEET
Absolutely loved this. It depicts revenge at its best. Really loved the two MLs. Two of my favorite crushes. The two FLs were also outstanding. I even liked the music and I usually have to mute a lot in Kdramas. I was so disappointed there are only five episodes though. I wanted the story about how to deal with a scumbag, cheating ex to happen. The bar scenes are realistic and looks like a bar I would frequent. More episodes please. Really five hundred words? This Is Why You Shouldn't Trust Reviews
I won't lie, I started this show because of exactly what you're thinking of: Hani.Going into it, I had a few reviews and comments in mind so I wasn't expecting much. People called it "your typical romance drama", so why did even the very first episode feel like anything but that?
If the only thing you got from this was the incredibly awkward development of Nana and Danny's relationship, that's your business. What it caught my attention with, though, was the story of learning to accept yourself, your past and present mistakes and grow from them. Oh, and beautiful friendship, too. The show had it all: I laughed, I cried, I sympathized and all that jazz. It had its ups and downs but was enjoyable, nevertheless.
Wish to see more of them in the future!

The Story: simple but satisfying. Cheating between friends and exes, and how to live after all that. Terrible in real life, great for entertainment value. What stood out for me that it was all believable. Nobody behaved in a way that makes you doubt the script-writers sanity. All the characters felt like real people. Because the whole thing is quite short, not everything was fleshed out as well as it could have been, especially the end could have used another hour or so, but overall it was a well told story.
The acting and cast was superb. None of the actors were on my favorites list, but all the characters were portrayed really well. One of the bad guys ( Shin Jae Hwi) did such a good job that I'm a bit worried I'll hate him when he's in something else. The female leads did great, the women they portrayed were far from perfect, but you can't help feeling for them. I especially liked the style in which the series was shot, not over-done, but the whole series felt a bit like 'french cinema'. The attention to detail, like applying lipstick as almost female body armor, made it a joy to watch.
The Music: this one is a bit harder to judge. The score always fit the scenes, and was even part of the story. Unfortunately I did not like any of the songs, so a seven out of ten maybe?
Rewatch value; I'll probably watch it again. The vibe of the show was really good, but it's not a complicated story with lots of details and / or layering, so it's not something you can watch over and over again.
Overall, recommended if you want to watch a shorter series, that shows real women, trying to solver their own issues, beautifully shot, with a well-integrated score.

Loved it for the most part.
The interaction between the female leads was great. The side characters were entertaining. The series is pretty streamlined. The main (required) love story felt like forced filler but didn't distract from the story or halt the drama in it's tracks or anything. Worth a watch. The idea is amazing but...
I enjoyed this drama.I read some reviews and comments and... I think I have a different view over some topics.
PLOT - athe story begins amazingly!
Between a betrayal in a 2 friends.
Are they strong women? I think Na Na is and always was, even 5 years ago. She felt betrayed by Roo Mi and that's what hurted her.
Roo Mi slept with Na Na's BF and that's it. She betrayed her friend and really choose to loose her.
She was seduced? Does anyone gets seduced if they don't want?
I think Roo Mi wasn't strong and it's starting to get powerful in the last episodes.
Danny was very cute and a true friend and bf. Usually I think women talk about the shiny Prince but desire the villain. Here it's the opposite. Sweet relationship between Na Na and Danny... Maybe she realised he was always by her side...
Na Na is amazing, she deserves her friends and Danny.
Didn't like Roo MI's ex. Very uninteresting. How could she love him?!?!
I never heard of 2 women in that situation come closer and be friends again. That was really surprising. But, since everyone thinks it's normal maybe it is.
ACTING - Really like it. Nothing amazing but everyone did the job.
OST - don't know what to say. I think it was well used in the drama butz personally, I didn't like the songs.
REWATCH - maybe some scenes but don't think so.
OVERALL - I like it. It could be better developed bit was ok. I like the relationships between human beings and the reasons and behaviours... Don't care if it's a straight, a lesbian, homossexual or other kind of relationship.

Why did I watched: Sunmi for the OST and I want short webdrama
Themes that I like in the drama: Friendship, strong women, revenge , believable character, sweet romance, nice boy.
1. Most favorite character: Danny ! He is such a nice boy. I like the nice touch that he talk about baseball for eve
2. Most favorite interactions: Rumi and Jayden. I like their bickering relationship, its fun to watch.
3. Most memorable scene/ plot point: When they revamp the black box vid to the shop. I thought we will never know. And spoiler: the cheater.
4. Why did I stay for this drama: engaging and well-liked characters. It's so easy to watch and left me wanting more
5. What I would like to see more: More bartending, I know its Kdrama and they won’t be focusing on the drink as for example Jdrama . But I love topical drama. More sismance and friendship : because I just love that.
6. What I would like to see less: the over usage of flashback and the breakdown moment. It felt so repetitive.
7. Would I watch it again? Yes ! probably soon
8. When will be the best time to watch? When I need something short and sweet to watch.
9. Radar alert for the future watch: I will watch any of the 4 lead actors if I see it. And playlist kinda slays its OTP game.

When I started this drama I thought that it was going to be a GL. Turns out it wasn't but it was not dissappointing for me at all since I still have enjoyed the story very much. I binge watched this short web drama in two afternoons and I enjoyed every minute of it and then I even watched the behind the scenes clips too since I liked this drama very much.
I really grew fond of the two female leads and I loved how their relationship developed from enemies to coworkers to aliies to friends. The supporting characters were also nice.
I highly recommend this web drama for you to watch!
