After being released from prison, Kang Hong Sik goes to the diner Shin Il Seon works at and drops the money that he got in prison. Shin Il Seon's opium addict brother finds that money. Shil Il Seon asks him to return it to Hong Sik but her brother refuses and runs away. Shin Il Seon pays Kang Hong Sik back from her own pockets in place of her brother and Hong Sik is unable to forget her graciousness. Meanwhile, Shin Il Seon is love with a man named Han Byeong Ryong. A punk, Joo In Gyu, intervenes in their relationship and attempts to snatch her away. The two men get in a fierce fight. When Han Byeong Ryong's life is endangered, Kang Hong Sik kills Joo In Gyu and goes to jail once again for this, wishing the best for Shin Il Seon and Han Byeong Ryong.
