Both movies are about two of most iconic Japanese castles. Both are about conquests of two great warlords trying to carry out, fulfil grand ambition of unifyng entire land of Japan during warring States period.

Both are classic historical epic war movies about Oda Nobunaga's life in war and rule. Both have very similar feel.
