Shimura and his classmates are permitted a day outside of the police academy, provided that they return on time. Before this, Yamane reveals that Tachibana once mugged him, and Shimura tries to confront him. Ishioka, Yamane, and Shimura go on a goukon after Shimura finds out Nijima has a boyfriend. The goukon does not go well, and neither does Nijima's date. Teppei's friend tells Tachibana about his father, and the Director confronts Sakuraba-sensei about Teppei's history.

Interesting...

I'm really intrigued to see the relation of Sakuraba-sensei and Teppei's father, as well as the assistant teacher's relationship with the little boy. For the most part, this episode was humorous, but not filled with the never-give-up feeling that the first two episodes contained. Now that Tachibana knows the information about Shimura's father, how will he use it? It will be interesting to see if he uses it to make Shimura's life better or worse...
