A cosplay contest is held a the hotel Shayoukan (Sunset Mansion) on a far-off island. A strange murder of the hotel owner occurs. The suspects come to be the various boys and girls who were present in the hall after the time of the murder, and among them is the singer Matsui Rena who has been called here as a judge for the contest. Suddenly, the Mousou Deka (Delusion Detective) Matsui Jurina appears. She starts to selfishly investigate on the suspects and how they could have killed the victim, coming to delusional conclusions. The episodes are short and focuses on different SKE members with Matsui Rena and Matsui Jurina as the two main characters.
I didn't know much about SKE48 when I went into this, and basically just watched it because of the two leads that are also in the Majisuka Gakuen series.
It had it's funny moments but I think they will be lost on people that doesn't have a connection to these actors. Acting wise it's alright, but stiff at times. Story is decent enough but it feels like there is alot of filler to fit in more camoes of SKE members.
All in all, I enjoyed it mainly due to Matsui Jurinas character because I know who they are and like them before this. Unless you are the same I suggest you avoid this unfortunatly.
