Five Stars

Guess it is just gonna have every episode end this way. Too bad. It's unnecessary cliché. =/

Almost the entirety of this particular episode was a trigger for me in some form or fashion. I cried through it for the most part, while the other part just made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

It's not a bad thing. The way things are written is actually pretty on point for a lot of emotional issues. I think, so far, every person that's watched to this point, likely had some scene that brought up an emotional memory or whatnot relatable to it. Likely people, who aren't ready to deal with certain things, got too uncomfortable and probably dropped the drama here because of it.

I think folks might walk into this thinking "cute and quirky rom-com" when it's really so much more than that. In that case, I'm certain by this point in the drama, they wouldn't be enjoying it. However, I'm actually enjoying it because it's not just that. I'm pleasantly surprised even if quite a few characters annoy the hell out of me. I'm gathering they're supposed to be right about now. ;)

Ahaha I'm so glad they made fun of the male-lead-catching-female-lead cliche. So great. It's so common in dramas that I can't take it seriously, so it's nice to see it turned on its head.

contains spoilers

Seung-jae = ArtD, Jo Jae-soo = Friend, Oh Ji-wang = President, Kang Soon-deok = LandladyWhy did they have to start the episode with her flashback…. breaking heart again  It is hard for people to accept love and care, if they did not receive it while growing up. It feels alien and you could see how Ko was struggling to feel good about receiving care and also at same time, dismissing his care by her words. San’s words of body don’t lie like your heart aches so you whimper hits bulls eye again. Out mind might forget trauma but body never lies and it remembers! This show is making me fall in love with it more and more each episode haha Conversation between ArtD and CEO is funny and the slow burn dialogue of hers haha! We need such characters in the show to lighten it up else this is too heavy. I have soft spot for the CEO after he went to Ko and asked about hallucination. He cares for her and not just money. Right now, I can see Ko and Gang being attracted to each other. But it still feels like he is being attracted to what is familiar in terms of his whole life has been about taking care of other person and for her expecting love from someone who wasn’t giving that. I hope it changes soon to her taking care of him because he needs that else this relationship feels so wrong! I hate the manipulation but that is who she is. One need to be strong to handle the manipulation, but Gang isn’t and its sad urgh!!! Okay: I ship the CEO and Juri hehe Is it that patient who took the book her mom? Urgh! Suspense is killing me. We all never know when our end is, thinking what we speak is so important. The guilt the patient is carrying for saying such words to her daughter is so painful. Friend is the best character ever! Awwww so sweet.. and the landlady.. all these side characters are right amount of filling required! Finally Gang was able to talk and let his guard down a little with help of alcohol and Ko’s facial expression when he got her the dreamcatcher and told her the story! Her eyes conveyed so much emotions. The flashback of their childhood where because of all the things he went through, where he has broken memory but now it’s filling up. Ah!! But the pain he felt when he realized his memory is heartbreaking. I cried a bucket. The cheerful dog story is beautiful and the way it relates to patient, Ko and also Gang! The ending when both of them smile after the haircut is the most heartwarming and genuine smile till now in the series! They are all such good actors. Amazing

One of the best acted scenes I have ever seen!

The scene on the roof between Gang Tae and his friend has to be the most well acted, raw and emotional scene I have seen in a drama. The way he just nodded his head and started crying when he asked if his mum regraded the way he treated him was just so real I could feel every bit of that!
I also liked how this episode painted the mother in a more favourable way and we got to see how she also cared for Gang Tae in her own way, even though she didn't really show it.

I cried twice.

This drama is hitting all the right spots. I cried harder in this episode than the previous ones. The first one was when Kang Tae asked Jae Suk if his mom felt regret for not treating him well. The second one was when Kang Tae got drunk and realized that his mom indeed loved and cared for him. I loved how this drama showed two perspectives: one of a son who just wanted to feel love and one of a mother who thought the love she gave was enough. You can't fault the two and you will both feel sympathy for them. I liked how they didn't make the mom a villain but rather explained her point of view through another mother who understands what parents go through. Kim Soo Hyun is a really great actor and I can't help but cry every time he cries.

BEST EPISODE SO FAR!!!!!!

Oh my god!!!! I literaly cried, smiled and laughed every time MY and GT did. I'm lucky I'm alone, I must've been looking like a fool while watching. This is the best episode so far, no questions asked. We can see Moon Young becoming more conscious of her own issues, Gang Tae opening up not only to himself but also to other important people around him. The interactions between MY and GT were so well performed, I don't know how to clearly say what i'm thinking, but I like the way how we can see that they didn't really change their personalities to suit each other (like Moon Young straightfowardness) but it's like they simply found a way to fit and understand each other. GT and MY interaction while Gang Tae was drunk was sooooo good. Seeing GT expressing his emotions was so touching too. The haircut was such a powerful message to express the process of healing in which MY is going through. 10/10 for this episode. Now two things: 1. I'm still so confused about what to think about MY omma and the strange things happening at the hospital, at first I thought it was all metaphorical, but in the next episode pre-view when the doctor says something like "there are strange things happening here" I didn't know what to think, which is a good thing! Anxiously waiting for tomorrow's episode. 2. The preview also got me worried about how Sang-tae will react to GT and MY relationship. I'm so glad I got to start watching K-Dramas this year (only highlight of 2020)
