Wu Zhi Xun agrees to tutor Qing Tong's friends and asks everyone about their weak subjects. Everyone begins to study diligently. Ba Dan points out that they were aiming to score well for a chance to perform in the Arts Festival, but had not prepared for anything except for their upcoming exam. The gang decides to settle on an original song and Duan Xiao borrows a guitar from Chen Jun He for Jin Bu. He in turn helps Jun He to get his dad's old watch fixed. Wu Zhi Xun's parents are livid when they discover that he'd been tutoring. His father shows up unexpectedly at their study sessions, insults Li Qing Tong and her friends. An angry Zhi Xun storms away and he is forbidden from going to school. Zhi Xun is absent for the rest of the semester as his parents had hired a private tutor for him. No one misses him, except for Qing Tong. The results of the exam are announced and everyone scores improves more than 30 points, except Li Jin Bu, who gets only 27 points more, eliminating any chance of the class to perform. Her friends try to lighten up her mood. However, seeing their hard work, they are allowed to perform at the fest. Lao Wu gives an encouraging speech before the day of Gaokao (common entrance test). Everyone comes back to class after the exam, where he declares that they had officially graduated. The students receive an emotional speech from the Discipline Director and give a touching farewell to Lao Wu. The five friends (Jin Bu, Qing Tong, Fatty Fan, Duan Xiao and Ba Dan) wonder how their results would go and decide to go for a Graduation Trip. Ba Dan tells that there was a rumor that Wu Zhi Xun had skipped the exam.
