In this episode Shinoda hads her "in-flight-training", meaning that she will be in the cockpit to see how pilots work with the instructions air controllers give. However, the monitors went black and the pilots are only able to fly via visibility and magnet field. With the help of all staff on the airport (mechanics, pilot trainees and air traffic controllers), the airplane lands safely and Shinoda can carry on her work in the tower.

Believe in the strength of humans

Somehow this episode made me more confident into flying with airplanes. It shows how people at the airport work if something happens with the instruments in the plane so that they do not work anymore. Every person tries its best to help landing the aircraft safely and you can see how different departures work together to ensure the safety of the passengers and plane.
So, if you're scared of using airplanes, this episode might be able to show you that even if the technique doesn't work, there are still the humans that can ensure you'll arrive safely.
