Disney+ has unveiled its cast lineup of Murky Water, starring Ro WoonShin Ye Eun, and Park Seo Ham, and Fabricated City, starring Ji Chang Wook and Doh Kyung Soo. 

At the Disney Content Showcase APAC 2024, held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on November 21, new original content set to be released in late 2024 and 2025 for the Asia-Pacific region was revealed. This lineup focuses particularly on content from South Korea and Japan.

At the event, Disney+ introduced the Korean productions, stating, "The works we are exclusively unveiling today feature a fantastic dream team of actors. They are fresh and exciting dramas from Disney+."

Murky Water is Disney+'s first Korean historical drama. Set in the Joseon Dynasty, it tells the story of a man who hides his past to become a gangster; a person who dreams of becoming an honest soldier; and a wise and righteous woman. The script is written by Chun Sung Il with Ro Woon, Park Seo Ham, and Shin Ye Eun taking on leading roles. 

Fabricated City is a blood-soaked revenge tale of a man whose ordinary life suddenly turns a living nightmare, plunging him into despair. Returning from the depths of hell, he embarks on a relentless journey for vengeance.  

Directed by Oh Sang Ho (The Roundup: PunishmentThe Roundup: No Way OutTaxi Driver Season 2Taxi Driver) the series stars Ji Chang Wook, Do Kyung Soo (D.O), Lee Kwang Soo, and Jo Yoon Soo. 

In a video message, Ji Chang Wook shared, "I'm excited as this is my third Disney+ original project." Do Kyung Soo added, "I'm happy to participate in this Disney+ original production, which is also my first. It's going to be an immersive experience."
