Cheoljong leaves the Palace to protect So Yong. So Yong worries about him as he disappears without any explanation. Meanwhile, the Grand Queen Dowager regains her regency as soon as Cheoljong leaves his spot, and she brings back Kim Jwa Geun to assist her. Byeong In tries to persuade So Yong to reconcile with the Kim clan, but she rejects his suggestion.

This episode was so tense and emotional. 😨😬😭I really hate Byeong-in at this point. If he was ever going to change, this had to be the final moment... one step further and he's not redeemable. He is driven by anger and hate for being rejected by So-Yong—she's the only reason he's that way. Gaaaaah! The anger and frustration I feel about him! 😤😩I loved how perceptive and clever the Queen was for connecting the dots, proving her suspicion and laying out a plan to find and save the King! 👏😏Court Lady Choi and Hong Yeon must survive this ambush! 🙏😬Love Kim Hwan for being the way he is—sincere, even if not the sharpest, and not discriminating against anyone because of their family! We need more people like that! 🤗👍I hope the Kim family will fall... and fall hard! 😠 (Ok, not Kim Hwan, So-Yong's father and maybe a few others).

Oh my what a mes it is now, can they fix this? How? For better?Byeong a perfect example how greed and jealous can turn good person into blind evil one.

One weakness that too many Kdramas have is at least one episode where the writting gets lazy, scenes get lazy. In this episode the Queen escapes the Palace to search for the King. However, she has no idea where he is and the bad guys know ahe has left. So she is just wandering around aimlessly with the Court Lady and her personal maid. They have a time limit in order to find the King but they have no plan, strategy or even know where they are going. It is an entirely ridiculously scenes. Then they run into the bad guys who are also looking for the King. And 8 military men are unable to catch 2 women, one of whom is trying to advance and the other is trying to pull her in the opposite direction to escape. They are 10 yards from eachother and yet the next scene the two women are half way running awsy and the military guards are nowhere to be seen.

Byung-in and his father are equally despicable, evil bastards. Just one knows he is and the other convinces himself that his actions are justified, because he’s pathetic.
