Gu Xiang treats Cao Wei Ning at Mount Hua sect. He tells her about his bad dreams in which he was unable to save her. Zhao Jing actively starts to work openly with the Scorpions, killing everyone who dared to slander him. He concludes that Gao Chong had cleverly planned to destroy the armor to end the war for the sake of the Jianghu while the actual shards are safely hidden. Lovelace, Happy and Changing ghost join in on his plan, but Happy is unconvinced. Changing ghost entices him with the information that the armory contains a book from the Healer Valley that could heal almost anything. Zhao Jing also finds out about Tragicomic ghost being rescued by sect leader Yu Feng. He asks Scorpion King to focus on his main goals and not be distracted. Ah' Xu, Lao Wen, Cheng Ling and Ye Bai Yi travel together to Longyuan Cabinet. Ye Bai Yi tells them how Long Que had met Rong Xuan and Ah' Xu recalls seeing him in the past before a fallout between Qin Huai Zhang and Long Que. Cheng Ling, who was born with strong martial talent, is strictly trained by an unforgiving Zhou Xu, who also keeps an eye on Lao Wen. Bai Yi asks him why he chose death. A drunk Lao Wen asks Zhou Xu to not die. He scolds him for hiding his intentions behind a mask, but says that he will wait for the day he would finally open up to him.
