Both stories were written by Priest, so as you can guess the relationship between the main characters unfolds the same way. Both pair of partners have a great affection, dependance and trust on each other, but at the same time they make their relationship seem so natural and ordinary without losing their homorous characters.

In order to leave the assassin organization The Window of Heaven, the leader Zhou Zi Shu performs an obligatory departure technique, leaving him with three years left to live. He disguises his face and tries to live the remainder of his days as a drunkard wandering the martial arts world.

Three months later, he meets the mysterious Wen Ke Xing, who immediately notices Zhou Zi Shu’s façade. The two then grow closer when they get entangled in a conspiracy regarding the Glazed Armor, a protected legendary key to a powerful armory.

In both, two skilled male leads associate with each other. One is severly injured and there supposedly is not any way to save him. In both, one male lead is very knowledgeable about martial art sects and matters ( Li Lianhua et Zhou Zishu). Also, there is a treasure everyone wants to get.
In WOH, the ultimate rival of the male lead is the other male lead but in MLC, the ultimate rival is the third male lead ( Di Feisheng).
MLC is about several cases connected to each other because one male lead is a detective whereas we can't say that there are cases in WOH even if the male leads investigate about some things.

I think both features really good friends who considered each other as family ( or "soulmates" in WOH from the words of the male leads ).

Similar BL drama, except it is a bromance. Xianxia drama, and loaded with angst and a lot of feels.

Both of these works are censored queer wuxia tales. The dynamic between the two female leads in Demon Cult Leader and the Decent Miss reminds of the master-disciple dynamic between Zi Shou and his student: that of a closet softie and an enthusiastic youngster who follows them relentlessly. And both stories feature leads willing to against the general consensus of the cultivation world for what they believe to be right.

Both are related to a hidden treasure. The key to the to treasure is distributed among different sects and everyone is competing and killing each other for it.

It's a korean thriller drama. Since woh start with a trio, so as the guest & the start of their journey isn't easy but they stay together till the end. Viewer especially feel connected with the 2 male friendship. It feel special & real, we cry.. Trust me, we cry when the time come. They don't need to flirt, it's the opposite. Totally RECOMMEND!!! Both are C-costume dramas and have Zhou Ye as the leads. Zhou Ye was successefully portrayed character Gui Xiang in Word Of Honor and has become more popular thanks to this character so it's worth to watch her role in Word Of Honor.
