Swordsman (2019)

In the Spring and Autumn period, the King of Chu is brutal. He orders over 100 blacksmiths to make a superior weapon for him. However, the blacksmiths fail, and the King of Chu bursts into rage and has them killed. With no choice, Feng Huzi introduces the secluded sword-making master Ou Yezi’s apprentice, Gan Jiang, to the King of Chu. He threatens Gan Jiang with over 100 blacksmiths’ lives and forces him to make a weapon. Gan Jiang can do nothing but leave his family, and takes Mo Ye, the sword that he has made, to the Chu palace. But he never returns. Gan Jiang’s son, Chi, grows up and becomes a young swordsman. He takes his sword, named Gan Jiang, into the imperial city, and fights alone to avenge his father’s death.
