Everyone has a card that they carry every day. Some tend to hide what it is and others just show it everywhere. Yu Mi and Woong agree on taking some time off to think again about their relationship. They both carry a card that decides whether they will continue their love or terminate it. Yu Mi’s cells debate on when they should use the Breakup card, but Love cell has trouble deciding. Can the last episode be the best episode of the drama?

I've had moments when i wasnt invested in this drama but quite honestly, this last episode was one of the best in this season. The cinematography (interstellar shoutout!), the breakup, Yumi trying to get it back together, the theme with cards, and last but not least - Yumi visiting the Yumi's village. Somehow i found that particular scene so touching. It all just fit together into satisfying and powerful ending

Animated cells keep this drama 'real.'

I enjoyed the quirkiness of this RomCom.
Kim Yu Mi (Kim Go Eun) & Gu Woong (Ahn Bo Hyun) explore the ups and downs of falling in love and developing a relationship. The role of Yumi's cells is paramount to the enjoyment of this rom com.
I love that we are given access to all of Yumi's thoughts and feelings, both rational and irrational through the lives and reactions of her 'cells'; little smurf-like cartoon characters representing different aspects of her psyche.
For anyone who likes to reflect on character motivations this drama delivers in spades but all from Yumi's POV. Different aspects of her behaviours are allocated to a cell. This adds to the comic appeal as certain cells come to dominate and their responses drive some of Yumi's more irrational actions but also help her to sometimes be more assertive.
I haven't read the webtoon (at 512 chapters I am expecting a second series at least) but this seems to me to be a unique take on how to depict a blossoming romance. The mixture of animation and acting mesh nicely and Yumi's expression reflects her inner turmoil brilliantly.
It is a sweet romance and Woong adds an animal magnetism that ups the sexual chemistry for what are an essentially fairly ordinary, nerdy couple. The question left open at the end of season "Am I afraid Woong will leave me? Or am I afraid of being alone?"

O final...

Five Stars

now that ive finished watching it i honestly feel like i went through the hole relationship myself i reflected on how i act and how i am towards the people i like and stuff the reason i loved the show is cause yumi and i were going through the same emotion such as having a crush and weather he likes you back or not the scene were she was at the cafe with ugi and found out that ugi doesnt share the same feelings as her i understood her her holding back her tears was the most sad and reflective thing during the show i rememberd all the times i held baack my tears when my crushes used to say stuff like "i was just joking about the fact that i like you" i used to act like i knew and like i wasnt hurt by their words one thing that made me mad was saeyi she didnt know her boundaries but eventually woong told her off that was the one moment when i was proud off him woong started making mad by episode 11 his pride is the reason why the relationship didnt work out bobby is a character i was looking foward to when i heard about him ever since he appeared i was curios on weather he was a threat or not he came in at the perfect time for me he didnt exactly become a homewrecker im looking foward to seeing him in season 2 yumi made me proud, sad, happy, and understanding through the series i loved the fact she stood up to saeyi and that she knew that the relationship with woong the last episode was so sad and i understood the emotion behind the breakup honestly this drama has become my number one fav kdrama

Finalmente Ugi falou pra elaonde tudo começou tudo terminaque vontade de chorar me deu ??????QUE FINAL. Só o barulho da água.
