An overall good drama
I have always liked Lu Si (watched pretty much all of her dramas) but this is my first time watching Liu Te. As usual, Lu Si performed really well in this drama. I realize she is always performing roles of a female lead who is adorable but not weak. It is quite refreshing to watch her. Liu Te on the other hand, is a bit stiff, probably also because his character is the cool, intelligent and capable male lead. The story is pretty interesting. I came in thinking this must be another rich, popular CEO who meets a very common girl by chance and they fall in love. Well, it started off that way but as the plot progresses, it starts to unveil more stories behind the leads' backgrounds. I like their attempt at the plot twist where Ling Shen starts to reveal his true colours but I wish there is more details or elaboration to it. It felt kind of abrupt to pin many different incidences to him and Yang Hong, then explained the process of everything in just one or two episodes.
Overall, I do like the chemistry between the leads and how the story progresses. Wish there is more depth to the story but again, this is the kind of drama you'd watch without really reading too much into it.

Watch it !! If you love romantic and relaxing drama
Firstly I watched it cause the female lead is my favourite. Here is my review.
STORY - The story for me is good. It just a typical romantic comedy drama with a bit of plot twist going on towards the ending.
I love every each character development throughout the whole 24 episodes. There are bit of trauma happened in the drama, but unlike any other drama, they don’t focus on that and they just continue to live with the trauma or phobia they had. I felt that is the realistic part of the drama, as it is not easy to cure your psychological trauma in real life too.
If you love cute romance with bit of reality kickin in. This would be a drama for you !!! The main lead romance is soo good to watch. Too cute toooo. And the move fast, fall in love fast, and confess easily too. Not dragging like any drama. So yeah, i lovess it. And the other characters all got their own romance development too. One of the couple actually end up having bittersweet ending, like 50-50 between happiness and sad ending. Kinda wish they had a closure scene in the drama like maybe a wedding since they almost got engaged.
There are few love triangle going on, with some misunderstandings, but most of it solved within next 10 minutes of the episode. So I’ll tell you, that this drama seriously not draggy one like any other idol drama.
CAST - as for cast and acting. I believe everyone manage to deliver their characters the best. Even the main lead acting and the evil characters acting are good enough too. But i still got little feeling that the male lead should be given to some other actor, not because he didn’t do a good job, but i just thinks that someone else in my mind would suit the lead better.
MUSIC - I didn’t realise or remember any music or ost particularly.
REWATCH - yup. I’ll rewatch this if i can !!! This is good for relaxing time tho.

Surprising complexity buried in a straight forward romance with a happy ending
9/10 is my rating. This is a 2021 Chinese romantic comedy drama with 24, 44-57 minute episodes. Also known under the alternate titles: “Accidentally Found Love”, “I Accidentally Picked Up Love”, and “You Succeeded in Attracting My Attention”First I provide a unique synopsis then review.
Synopsis
Gu An Xin (Zhao Lu Si) is leading a simple, though impoverished life, as a delivery driver when she accidentally hits Ling Yue (Liu Te) when he stumbles into the road. She does not realize he is crawling out of an accident where rival heirs tried to get rid of the heir apparent. Ling Yue allows An Xin to think she is the primary cause of his injuries in order to use her as cover and her apartment as a hide out while he investigates who is behind the attempt on his life. AnXin also has a secret and is hiding. As they live together and get to know each other it seems fate may have had a hand in things. Can two who seem so opposite actually be each other’s ideal?
Review
Overall it is a good, heart warming romance with some surprising plot twists and complexity. There were some minor plot elements that were not neatly resolved. But the main story is interesting and compelling. It ends happy for all but one side couple.
Spoilers*
I have to say when the apartment flooded that whole incident was a little unbelievable just because of the amount of water and how easily she cleaned it up. In fact, she was never very upset when he did major damage to her apartment like the kitchen fire and the flooding. All of that would’ve taken a lot to repair. Also when she listed the expenses related to that it wasn’t anything about the water damage that that would’ve created. It made it a bit silly in those parts that her response did not mirror reality.
This one takes the cake for most surprising plot twist. At this point I’ve watched over 300 dramas. Because I have watched so many dramas it makes it to where I can predict a lot of the plot twists. So I usually have figured out who is doing what to whom by halfway through. In this one when it turned out it was the little brother behind all of the attempts on main guy I was completely surprised. That level if surprise us rare..
They made such a big deal out of Anxin being kicked out of her family I wanted her to have a big reveal with her dad. She did not get a chance as he wound up with a brain tumor that led to dementia. That was disappointing. He also did not understand how messed up the actions of the current wife were. She denied him his daughter by swapping the paternity test and essentially drove his wife to end herself.
I wish the brother never expressed romantic feelings for her. They had such a cute brother sister relationship before he made it all weird and awkward by telling her he was interested in her romantically. It was ironic to me, because early in the series I kept saying Ling yue was being unreasonable toward Anxin’s brother because that was just her brother. Turns out he sensed all along that he had more than brotherly feelings for her. I was glad the two men mostly bridged their differences at the end and became friendly with each other.
Anxin’s sister was just straight up cruel to her so I did not feel warm fuzzies when she started being nice. I thought she was horrible to both men too, Ling yue and his little brother. She would work on Anxin and get her doubting herself in the relationship and it would either cause problems or break them up temporarily, and there was no reason for it because he had all the opportunity in the world to get with her previously and didn’t.
I did not like how they were willing to forgive the little brother and say he’s just young. The fact that he tried multiple times and showed no remorse would be highly indicative of a sociopath.
An Xin’s sister was a bit redeemable because at least she showed remorse for her actions at the end although I thought Anxin forgave her way too quickly. The little brother and the mom, on the other hand, never showed remorse so it was wrong for them to forgive them, or seem willing to forgive them when they did not even sorry themselves. They were only sorry that they got caught and so they felt bad for themselves.
Two of my favorite characters were his bodyguard and his doctor best friend and I thought the romance between the two was so cute. When he went into the boxing ring to defend her honor and show his sincerity and took a serious beating for her I thought that was so cool. I really started rooting for them then.
It was complete bonus round that Anxin’s manga business took off. It was really cool to see her be successful in her own, right.

Boring
This drama is so boring, boring, and boring! One cliche is riding on a cliche chasing another one. The ML LOOKS LIKE Lin Yi from "Put your head on my shoulder" (which is a wonderful drama I watched it SEVERAL times) Where did u get the idea to have an actor who looks IDENTICAL to another actor? He is so boring, no acting skills and Zhao Lusi is not better, just boring as well next to her dull partner! I barely finished watching it skipping and skipping almost half of the scenes. I enjoy watching Lin Yi and very disappointed to see another identical actor looking like him!!! Only looking not in other different aspects like acting skills! Disappointing job screen writers, actors, and the crew plans were perfect. Was this review helpful to you?

a cute fluff drama to watch
It has the “Forget You, Remember Love” vibes, where the male lead got into an accident and supposedly forgotten about his life. However, in this show, he lied, and was avoiding his enemy. I pretty much dislike the way he um, for the lack of a better word, forced/ pushed himself onto the girl? Idk, like the whole courtship doesn’t entice me. He kissed her without confessing, and he wasn’t even sure if she felt the same as him when he did it. It just felt very weird tbh, but okay, since the girl felt the same too, guess it’s cool? I do like that Anxin trusted Lingyue in a few occasions though she had certain insecurities sometimes too. She had a pretty tough life, so I’m glad she met the person for her, and am living a happy life after. The other couples in this drama are cute too!!! Honestly, I feel that Xiner’s “love” for Lingyue isn’t that, more of like an obsession of wanting to win Anxin, so I could understand her sudden change of feelings for Lingsheng. Considering the fact that Lingsheng has AWAYS been there since she was young, she made a good choice choosing him, and finally seeing his love for her. I also feel that because he has always been there for her, she probably liked her for a while before acknowledging it & finally letting go of her obsession.
My rating for plot is low is mainly due to the fact that there isn’t much up and down to the show? There wasn’t really any moment which tugged my heart too, it’s just full fluff, which is cute I guess, but may tend to boring for some (which I did find it boring at some point of time). The pace of romance was quick, which is good. The character development for each characters is a plus point too.
Zhao Lusi’s acting is pretty good, liked her in dating in the kitchen. Liu Te was pretty decent too, while they’re cute together, I don’t really ship them tbh. I know many people will have a different opinion for this. However, to me, their chemistry ain’t the best. I’ve seen better so yeah…
Honestly, I wouldn’t rewatch this show, maybe only the cute scenes?
Overall, it’s a decent show but it’s not that awesome I guess. Though the plot twist did make it interesting though. Someone who is always so calm and nice may not turn out to be a good person while someone who is always mean and annoying may not hold as much grudges as we think they would. Anyway, I love c-drama cos they usually have a happy ending, and this one do too hehe ❤️ I would say, watch it if you like zhao lusi, she’s cute & her acting is decent. But if not, you can just skip this drama I guess

B-grade Romance drama lol
A likes B, and B likes A; but C likes A and D likes B; also E likes D and F likes C! Hahahaha what a mess!!! Yep- that’s what you get from this drama.Ok let’s break it down- what I liked was the pace. It was fast, not draggy as they covered a lot in 24 episodes. It did get rather repetitive after episode 14- esp with Gu Xin Er repeating herself again and again, so I skipped most of her scenes and with Ling Sheng. Last 2 episodes summed it up pretty well and a happy ending.
Main couple was cute, although I thought it was rather B-grade, and I’m surprised Zhao Lusi acted in this (I thought she would choose better scripts). Their love story development was too fast (they kiss in Episode 5!:)) which was fine but I would have liked to see more of the chase. They did have their ups and downs/ lack of communication/ 3rd and 4th party interference; the usual angst. Any problems they faced was very quickly overcome. I loved Ling Yue’s bodyguard Ai Li! Very cool;)
Worst characters- Gu Xin Er. Hung up on a guy for ten years, knows he’s already in a relationship, still want to repeat herself again and again. She kept blaming everyone else for all the problems she faced- whether personal or work related. For goodness sake, take responsibility for your own choices! Just felt like slapping her.
Another lousy character- the brother Gu Ansheng. Like sheesh... also blame Ling Yue for everything. What’s wrong with this brother and sister?!! And he liked his adopted sister growing up... errr creepy!
Ling sheng- what an idiot following the girl like a puppy. Spoiled brat- get a life! Be a man! Sigh... in my opinion these characters were written very poorly.
All the problems in this drama could be summed up in one word- jealousy. So jealous that you would go to great lengths to destroy that person, then claim it’s their fault. UGH! Plot twists- quite predictable. Nothing new there. Also why wasn’t Madam Ling at her son’s engagement party, or at the hospital with her husband? She was missing in the last few episodes.
Anyway, you will get a lot of angst watching this. There were some funny and light moments, but all in all it wasn’t that great. Music background was the best! I loved the piano tango accompaniment- so funny! And sometimes the music was so epic and dramatic, like something from LOTR hahaha.
OH! And the product placement RIO- in every single episode! You open the fridge and there are at least 30 cans in there :P face palm

This is what I thought about the show
Anxin and Ling Yue met when they were young. when they grow up into adults, they meet again. they both start having feelings for each other when Ling Yue keeps a low profile about his real name and his family. There are 7 episodes I find funny but I do know this show has 24 episodes. At first, the first character I didn't like was Ling Fang because he squeezed Ling Yue's leg when he didn't believe he was hurt. I was happy that Ling Fang and Ling Yue was getting along with each other after he saved Anxin and Ling Yue's life. the second character is Xin'er because she keeps on questioning Anxin and Ling Yue's relationship. The one I was mad about was when she entered the apartment after Ling Yue surprised Anxin with her apartment. She also decides to trap Ling Yue using her brother's phone to tell her feelings for him and he tells him to think who he wants to be with. The third character is Ling Sheng because he hides his true colors while trying to kill his older brother and showing his dad that Ling Yue is dead on a fake newspaper show that he changed after the fact he was the one that attacked Ling Yue's New Way company. He is also was jealous that he is in charge of L Group which is his dad's company.when Anxin and Ling Yue were in their on-and-off relationship, I found they made up after the next two episodes or one episode quickly. when Ling Yue was worried about Anxin being hungry and not sleeping it made me care that Anxin is lucky to have a boyfriend like him. I do like that two cats are a part of the show because I am a cat owner myself. I did enjoy the show because of the part of the episodes and I think it's funny. Anxin and Ling Yue did have a happy ending!

Worth the watch
Overall the show was well done and had a great ending. From beginning to end you are hooked into the story and lives of our characters and yearn to know how it plays out. You find yourself wanting more and yearning for justice and explanations. No character had an ending that was unsatisfying or uncalled for. Even the sad endings that hurt your heart feel necessary and appropriate.Pros:
- Female characters are portrayed as strong and not the stereotypical clumsy damsels in distresses
- Plot twist of who the true villain is throughout the whole show
- Character development and redemption that we were all rooting for
- Familial and platonic relationships that were tried and restored
- Many cute and well-executed couples
Cons:
- Adoptive brother loves adopted sister trope
- Misunderstanding trope
- Smart second female lead that is obsessed with the main lead that clearly doesn't want her

Good start... But later predictable and boring..
The drama was awesome in the beginning but after episode 11 just lost its charm...It became very much predictable, boring, repetitive and slow..
The story is also too common..
Female lead's acting was good, male lead was too stiff..
Male lead's younger brother was one of the irritating character, he kept on pursuing the girl who was least interested in him but only used him to stay close to his brother..
Can't watch it any more..
So dropping it, and utilising the time to watch something meaningful..

Really nice, and the plot twist was great.
BACKGROUND INFOThe male lead (Ling Yue) is an adopted child of the Ling family, and runs the technology business "New Way". The female lead (Gu Anxin) is a girl who loves comic making and works as a delivery person. Ling Yue is being sabotaged while driving, and drives off a cliff into the water. News is reported, and no one has found his body because Gu Anxin met Ling Yue and helped him get to the hospital. Ling Yue lost his memory and hurt his leg, so Gu Anxin let him live in her house until his memory recovered. One day, Ling Yue suddenly leaves, and him and Gu Anxin meet again at a convocation. Gu Anxin is perplexed and learns a lot about Ling Yue. But on the same day, Gu Anxin meets Yu Guo, a whom she knew since high school. They had misunderstandings between them because of competition and an accident involving Gu Anxin that caused Yu Guo to have an almost handicapped arm. Gu Anxin and Ling Yue face many obstacles in terms of relationship. Family situations are complex, and the truth is to be revealed.
STORY------------------------------------------------------------
I loved this drama a lot. The story was really interesting, and cute. I think the backstories of the leads were thought out very well. It really made it seem like they were meant for each other. Another great thing, is that the female support (Gu Xin Er) who loves the male lead actually finds someone else she loves. That is usually rare in dramas, and I appreciate that happened. After all, the female support didn't really harm their relationship. But I do have to criticize the fact that I felt sort of hidden from some things. For example, during episode 7, Yu Guo shows up and has this hatred towards the female lead. It wasn't until the end that I fully understood what happened to Yu Guo and the female lead. Also, I was confused as to whether the female lead and her brother were blood related. Another thing I want to mention is that they sort of have a split up then back together cycle in the beginning. I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing, because it was a little annoying, but the split ups are really small so it wasn't because the female or male lead assumes and overreacts. The plot twist was literally the best part. I was really shocked though, because this person was so innocent in love and it was truly unexpected. At the same time it was unfortunate for this person too. In the end, the female support and the female lead become friends. There are other relationships too. The FM's (female lead) best friend fell in love, and the ML's bodyguard fell in love with one of the ML's best friends. I seriously loved the story until the end though. I felt this drama had so much more potential for an excellent ending. The some of the people who did things wrong didn't get more severe punishments, and there was no finish. The second half felt very messy and wasn't excellent. Story was average.
ACTING/CAST-------------------------------------------------
I was more so here for Zhao Lusi, but Liu Te is great too! They make a perfect leading couple, and acting was awesome. I do think there were a few cringy parts, but for the most part it was nice. I want to emphasize that the female lead character was really good. Of course there will be times where people try to separate the leads, but I am glad the female lead won't be easily deceived by any news trying to break their relationship.
MUSIC------------------------------------------------------------
Music was amazing, I nearly memorized all the song lyrics! But there was a song that was in the drama which I couldn't find in the full OST. Definitely one of the dramas with better songs.
REWATCH VALUE----------------------------------------------
Like I mentioned earlier, the first part of the drama was sort of a repetition of a small split up and back together, which was sort of annoying. I would at most watch the last half of the drama, since I think the last half has more action and is more interesting. I am not a person that would rewatch dramas, so it really depends on how much you like it and if you want to move on to other stuff.
OVERALL---------------------------------------------------------
Good drama. I would recommend to people who are more open when it comes to choices. For me, this drama was very lighthearted, and didn't catch my emotions a whole lot. I was a little disappointed since I really thought this drama had so much potential for a great ending. But it's definitely not at the bottom of my list.

I like it, though might not mean you would ;)
Watched this series some ages ago. I am very attracted to the OST paired with this series as it is really nice and awesome. The storyline is also quite interesting, with some drama, suspense and of course not forgetting romance. The male lead and female lead are quite good together, the height difference was quite adorable to watch also in many scenes. There are also various funny scenes / moments. All in all, the entire cast really did a great job - even the "bad guys" and I really love this series loads. Definitely something to watch - rewatch would depend on your individual thoughts if it is worth the 2nd or more watch. Was this review helpful to you?
