Watch it on your own opinion

One of the cutest and good Chinese dramas i have watched in a while. Overall it is definitely on my favorite drama list!
If you like fluffy romance and twist and turns, this is definitely one to be recommended! Watch it on your own. Some people have reviewed a lot dramas not being good or put low reviews but a lot ended up being on my favorite list. Don’t rely on other peoples reviews. It is a basic and typical Chinese romance drama. But every character makes it different. I love the FL in this. At first I wasn’t sure about the ML but he grew onto me.

Initially the drama was damn good

I was hooked up at 1st ep. The rich ceo run into an accident & met the deliverywoman in way who hospitalozed him. However he faked a memory loss(, bcoz of company politics u will understand when u watch) & hid himself into that woman house. Trust me the moments of them in her neighbourhood & home & their development of liking to each other we will gonna love it. However the story started to lose its essence after ep 14.However even if u dont want to watch the drama full i will suggest u to watch it till ep 11. Trust me u will definitely enjoy it. But yeah after ep 14-15 i myself started found the story draggy & basic. The kiss scenes were good. I liked it.

Pretty boring with a large cast of evil characters

I was looking forward to this because I loved Rosy Zhao in Dating in the Kitchen. I was so disappointed! This drama could have been greatly improved by cutting the number of stories and the number of episodes. It seemed to go on and on forever. They have GOT to work on the dubbing! The thing that I noticed most in this show was everyone's footsteps, whether they were wearing tennis shoes or dress shoes. Why? I have no idea.
The concept for the story was cute, but it didn't feel cohesive to me. I understand that you have to have a "bad guy" in these shows to create drama and problems. Why were there so many in this show?
I didn't find the lead actor very attractive, but I loved the height difference between the two. There were some good kisses and some really bad kisses, but I didn't find the acting very good at all.
This was one of those dramas that, while I was watching it, I was wondering when it was ever going to end. And once it did, I was so glad!

Getting worse as time goes by.

(1) Story & Its Logic [-]

Hah, I want to scoff. This is the drama that only knows the way to create the title, but doesn't know at all how to develop the story. Their story has only one idea which is "accidentally find love" as the title "一不小心捡到爱" says. Apart from the idea that the ML and FL accidentally meet and love each other, other things are totally a mess. There's no logic in any part of the story. The business part is especially wrongly portrayed. The decisions of each character that is supposed to be the elite class from the good educational background are illogical, irrational and I can't find the root of their characters.

Let's talk a bit about the business part as it won't be a spoiler:

- Everyone on the company board regards the contract that is forced to sign as legal despite knowing that it's obtained by force without the consent of the signee... Excuse me, guyssss. You don't have to discuss how to solve a situation like this at all. The contract is void when it's proved that the contract is done by coercion. How come the senior executives in this drama, including the ML and ML's family, are very less-educated in the basics of business law. This is so unrealistic to the point of stupidity.

- In front of the media, the executives openly quarrel about the share portions and fight over the chairman's position. And this is a company that is on the stock market. And the people fighting over the position are related by blood. This kind of immature action wouldn't only be unacceptable among the board members, but it would cause a big stir among the public and affect the reliability of the company that will eventually affect the stock price. If you can't foresee the consequence of this kind of action in public, you don't even have rights to battle for the chairman position. And when they ask the board to vote right there in front of the media eyes for the next chairman, damnnn... the board plays along?!! Ridiculous! The board wouldn't vote for the next chairman in an impromptu event like this and, top of all, they wouldn't vote for any of you following your immature fight before the media if they want to save the company.

Just a stupid story, I would conclude.

----------------------------------------------

(2) Character Design [-]

There's no characteristic in each character. There's only the writer who forcefully orders each character to think, speak, do what and what. All actions of the characters are just rootless. They stick to one thing like a robot without conscious consideration. They're like machines that stick to what they're programmed without wavering, but then suddenly change their mind again, and without cause, like they're re-programmed. There's no development in their characteristics. Their changes are incomprehensive as well as their prejudices, grudges, obsessions and stupidity.

----------------------------------------------

(3) Acting [-]

Overall is bad. FL makes quite a few trivial but awkward gestures. For the general gestures, she is ok, but when it's the details there're awkward parts. The ML is inexperienced in acting it's very obvious, but that also makes it refreshing to see him in love scenes. His ears are always super red... always like I don't know anymore if that maybe his ears' normal color. Good point about this drama is the chemistry between the leads, but this thing alone can't help with the overall bad points of it. The weakness of this drama is too strong.

----------------------------------------------

To have been anticipated for this drama is disappointing for me. To finish this drama is also a waste of time.

Predictable & boring

The story lacks originality - it has a car accident, amnesia, kidnapping, attempted murder, a psycho stepmom, a perverted stepbrother, a jealous stepsister, and finally business rivalry. I can openly say that I skipped through the whole drama but continued watching simply because I hoped for some improvement.

Overall, the drama is boring. I also disliked the ML - bad acting, stiff and expressionless, poor posture. He was completely unsuitable for this role. The kissing scenes were blah - this is the first time I am watching a show which has a fair number of kisses, but you cannot see any chemistry between the leads -kissing for the sake of kissing bcoz the script demanded it...... I actually fast-forwarded them.

Needless to say, re-watching this drama is out of the question.

Had high hopes but it ended up being another cliche

There are a lot of reviews and others have already pointed out some points I agree with but I'm not sure why they all gave a rating of 8, when this drama is a 7 at most. As another reviewer said, this drama is quite monotone (I never found myself excited/really happy/anxious). I really liked the set-up of the story with the fake amnesia. There were definitely going to be some tropes in there (rich CEO does what he thinks is best for the girl), but the execution/storyline was just plain and offered no twists, every possible basic cutesy scene somehow executed in a repetitive lame way (might be something to do with the chemistry or acting), and very uneven pacing (a very draggy middle and very medium-paced beginning and end).
If they somehow managed to pull of a unique storyline (which I was expecting) and cutesy scenes, it could've easily been a 8.5 or 9. One thing I did like was the OST, specifically the song at the end of each episode (can't tell if part of the reason is my eager to get through the episodes). If you have extra time and are comfortable with skimming/skipping through a few scenes in the middle, this drama might be for you. The beginning and end is good though, so at least you won't feel unsatisfied.

Not your average sweet romance more family drama behind it all

Be warned! this drama is more than just the romance part of it! Romance between the leads I would give it a solid 9.5, but story wise like 7. Also the story is kinda complicated despite being a 24 ep drama. On the good side, the plot is fast pace and not draggy. Some drama I couldnt even enjoy because the good part came so far in the end. This drama sprinkle it nicely! The leads do end up kissing a lot! >_<

The story starts off well, Male lead is the second son to the Ling family. He is also adopted, but despite that his dad really loves him and basically makes him in charge of the company. He has an older brother and younger. He got into an car accident because he though the older brother sabotage him. In the process of him being hurt, he female lead accidentally runs into him with her scooter bike. She thinks he lost his memory but when in reality he was hiding from his brother. The male lead acted kinda dumb but was doing a lot of things to prepare for his comeback. The pair fall in love really quickly.

I would say that the lead's childhood is pretty trauma lol... The female lead experience the suicide of her mother, but that was too traumatizing and she forgot what happen. She ends up being afraid of the dark, She is the elder? daughter of the Gu family( which her dad never liked her because he thought female lead is not his own) The Gu dad remarried and had a daughter with the wife. The wife had a son from her previous marriage. So in the Gu family there is the elder son, female lead and the sister ( the lesser of the evils) The younger evil daughter has always been jealous of the female lead. The step mom is also an evil lady ( which is revealed later on)

For the male lead he had many traumatic experiences due to his elder brother... HIs older brother seems like a bad guy but in fact he's not the worst! There is someone far worst and I guessed right to who that person was...

The leads romance definitely was cute! It was the male lead leading all the kisses and smooches! I liked their chemistry but it wasnt as passionate. I mean the female lead Chao Lusi has pretty good chemistry will all her co stars!

DIdnt care for the side characters romance as much..... only liked her best friend bickering couple...

This drama is a rather dark drama but a decent watch !Let's just say that a mysterious bad guy reveals himself towards the end!

Cute & Sweet ...

The story line was rather bland, your typical accident and fake amnesia, the whole falling in love part etc...

However, it was kind of gripping to watch, and I did not see the second younger brother do such a 360 and turn about, for me that was really unexpected, and I guess it took the whole element of surprise to a new level.

There is nothing much to say about this series, it is just one of those cute and adorable drama, the FL as always played the girl next door type and she played it really well, she typical seems to thrive on these kind of series, and she does play them really well, probably why I watched it. The ML lead was my first time watching him, and I like how he always stayed true to her feelings, and was always considerate. the rest of the cast were pretty good, especially the two from the untamed, what a difference seeing them in something else.

The Music was really good and I have it on my playlist.

All it was a sweet round up drama with a happy ending.

Cliché rom-com with the memory of a goldfish

First of all, apologies to all my goldfish friends. ;)
I'm ambivalent about this show. On one hand, taken moment by moment, it is light, fluffy and swoon worthy. On the other hand, the script is weak and too tropey, has pacing issues, plot holes big enough to drive through and one dimensional characters. After episode 5 until around ep. 19, I watched the show at 1.5-2x speed. I didn't skip scenes but I can't be bothered to sit through them at normal speed either.
The start of the show is way too fantastical (I didn't say it was fantastic). It all happened at breakneck speed with tropey meet-cute, accidental first kiss, cohabitation, faked illness, falling into each other's arms (repeatedly) all done and dusted by the end of episode 2. It was bordering on non-sensical. By the fifth episode, the OTP was signed, sealed and delivered. What a shame that the show then expanded all its energy on creating road blocks for the CP. Nothing new there but it was done with little finesse. The simple plots were transparent and with the ML's Super Intelligence™, he was always one step ahead of the antagonists. It might be satisfying to watch piecewise but it also reduced any tension to near zero as you knew the ML will win every time.
Speaking of antagonists, it was very claustrophobic. There are about 6 key characters (plus the usual family, best friends and close associates) but they are from just 2 families and they all grew up together and most of them have a crush/unrequited love of some one else in that group. Even with numerous rejections, the circle just goes around and around and nobody takes no for an answer.
Disappointingly, the FL felt muted. Zhao Lu Si has a lot of screen time but her character was not strong and easily manipulated. Normally, she plays the feisty, bubbly FL that throws down the gauntlet to the world but not this time. There are glimpses of that but on the whole, she was overshadowed by the ML and more suffering than dishing it out. She was totally manipulated by the ML in the early episodes, then she became his pretty partner and cheerleader. She has her own achievements but it was small scale by comparison. I think she was underutilised and frankly didn't shine.
I have no doubt many viewers will ship the OTP but my cynical eyes kept seeing the writer's hand in pushing them onto us. Creating those "moments" that will be talked about and shared.
On top of that, there were endless business shenanigans (just within the key players). Once again, very poorly constructed and involved expositions on some wicked machination and magically, the other company's shares will crash. It paints the Chinese business world in pretty grim lights, TBH. Of course, the ML came through (again and again) and made his enemies look stupid (and they were). That is why I mentioned gold fish memory as all these were done in small cycles. Confession/rejection, business gain/loss, family politics, rinse and repeat.
It got better in the last few episodes but the tone is set and it is really just a race to the finish line of closures and CP happiness.
The secondary pairings provided some relieve but they didn't do much more than that. You don't really feel invested in them.
OST was mostly happy tunes and rewatch is not really there unless you want to watch some of the CP highlights. There were some egregious PPL as well.
Like I said before, moment by moment, it is not bad but sadly, the whole is less than the sum of the parts.

Very Cute & Worth the watch.

Finally, I found a c-drama that doesn't take itself too seriously. It doesn't have the over-the-top parent relationships. I appreciate the ML's affection throughout the series that never wavered and didn't blur the lines like in some other dramas. The ML was different than I am used to; however, he spoke more with his eyes than anything else. The FL, I have seen her before in 'I Hear You'. I like her much better in this one. Even though she is playing someone young in love, I am so glad the writers didn't write her as someone that was too naive. The storyline had it cliches for sure. But I must admit one of the twists I didn't see coming. If you want to watch a romance drama that isn't so drastically dark or burdens your heart throughout, this is a good one. It is solid and worth the watch.

Not gonna overate or underate

If you like “put your head on my shoulder”, you should like this too.
The typically cute-height-difference is evident here and the storyline do have some unexpected turning points, it started to make me intrigued in around episode 5 so do not give up so quickly then :))!

Thought the story is a little plain and basic, but the relationship develops quickly and it is not draggy. The characters are likable and suit their role very well.
The so called “evil” actor portrayed his annoying , angst role very well and both the female and male lead have good chemistry.
In a nut shell, I’ll give it a solid 8 (for now), because it is a cute light hearted drama with not so much excitement but no sign of boredom either!

An overall good drama

I have always liked Lu Si (watched pretty much all of her dramas) but this is my first time watching Liu Te. As usual, Lu Si performed really well in this drama. I realize she is always performing roles of a female lead who is adorable but not weak. It is quite refreshing to watch her. Liu Te on the other hand, is a bit stiff, probably also because his character is the cool, intelligent and capable male lead.

The story is pretty interesting. I came in thinking this must be another rich, popular CEO who meets a very common girl by chance and they fall in love. Well, it started off that way but as the plot progresses, it starts to unveil more stories behind the leads' backgrounds. I like their attempt at the plot twist where Ling Shen starts to reveal his true colours but I wish there is more details or elaboration to it. It felt kind of abrupt to pin many different incidences to him and Yang Hong, then explained the process of everything in just one or two episodes.

Overall, I do like the chemistry between the leads and how the story progresses. Wish there is more depth to the story but again, this is the kind of drama you'd watch without really reading too much into it.
