A Youth Themed Cdrama Couldn't Go Wrong
I really like the plot, the acting, the chemistry, the cinematography. And how i love that this story is not only focus in the romance term , but it's also focus in growing friendship (they're just silly little highschoolers🥺). I keep remembering my high school era while watching this drama, it has that nostalgic magic. My fav cdrama ever!!
Ok now that this is over I am literally sobbing. My fav youth cdrama ever if not my fav overall!!! The acting, chemistry, cinematography, and relationships in this are top-notch. I love their relationship so much. It literally gave me butterflies after not having a drama give me butterflies for so long. I love everything about the couple even before they started dating. The looks and the small smiles just made everything 10 times better. I will probably watch this again so many times, I can already tell. I will never regret watching this as it was airing as I couldn't wait any longer after seeing their scenes. The actors that played ZZ and RR are AMAZING!!! I love that RR was supposed to be a "cold" character but actually had a personality but he was just closed off due to his parents being the way they were. Nothing would've prepared me for how good this drama was going to be and I recommend this to ANYONE wanting a 10/10 show to watch without any stupid breakups or misunderstandings between the leads. And this friend group was a 100/10. I loved them so much for how they stuck together to the end. When I fly towards you was the thing I looked forward to watching every morning and now I will never forget this fantastic show!!!! I 100% recommend it to anyone and everyone! This show will always have a special place in my heart
My bestie and I watched this almost every Tuesday at school during the gap in our timetables and it was always such a good time. I LOVE this show! We would laugh and awe and cry in the school stairwell each week over this show and teachers would sometimes ask what we were doing. We did this for the whole semester and just finished it now during our summer break and today happens to be Tuesday. Tuesdays really won't be the same anymore💔 and Fridays won’t be the same without 23.5. But this show will truly always have a special place in our hearts and it is definitely worth watching!!!!Was this review helpful to you?

When I Fly Towards You is a love series about the love that escalates between middle school students (Su Zai Zai, Zhang Lu Rang, Jiang Jia, Gu Ran, Guan Fang) and the growing development of friendship, character, and their life.It starts with a new cheerful outgoing student which moves into a new school (Su Zai Zai). On her first day, she encountered the cool and HANDSOME Zhang Lu Rang and fell in love with him. But in secret, the reason he is closed is because of his family that keeps comparing and shows favoritism to his brother which makes them forget about him. His mom even forgets his allergies. That didn’t bother Zai Zai. She then starts to get his attention and starts getting close to him and his friends. They start hanging out often and her friend (a guy) starts catching feelings with her best friend. Whilst their friendship grows, their feelings also grow. Zhang Lu Rang, the guy starts getting feelings for Su Zai Zai and keeps his feelings a secret. Su Zai Zai and Zhang Lu Rang start to get closer, and he starts to feel more comfortable with her. Their love grows and last and they end up getting married.
This has become my favorite and my comfort series for a reason. It is outgoing, exciting, relatable, fun and shows feelings. This series gives the feeling of love, friendship, development, and the hardships of life.
This love series is truly great. It shows character, feelings, development, and the hardships of live and process. For me this series is really worth watching and is a 10/10.

Worth the watch
If you are looking for a story that has healthy relationship, then this is the one for you. No unnecessary drama. No misunderstandings. It is very youthful and close to a real story I could say. The female lead is very bubbly and the male lead is introverted. If you are looking for a very different story, then this might not be your cup of tea. But this definitely is a very light-hearted drama. The male lead is Ai Jia from falling into your smile. Just like his character in that series, he is whipped to the female lead. Even the friendship element is so good in this series. Everyone wishes for a friends gang like theirs. From high school to work life, they stick together through thick and thin. What more would you want in life. Even the second couple is super cute. Wish there is a spin-off for their story. Good lighthearted drama
If you're seeking a lighthearted drama, this one is a perfect choice. The camcorder detail in the show adds a delightful sense of nostalgia that I absolutely adore. It has a great balance in portraying romance, friendship, and family dynamics. Each storyline is well-developed and none of them feel superfluous. As someone who tends to skip through scenes in dramas, I was pleasantly surprised to find myself fully engaged in every episode of this drama. The relationship between Zhang Lu Rang and Su Zaizai is incredibly endearing, and I appreciate the absence of prolonged frustrating plot points. Heartfelt and made me appreciate life more
This series is honestly worth every minute, i might have been bored at first but as i got to know the characters more…i loved it. It’s now my favorite show ever. You can see them get through different phases of their lives and have their ups and downs and you actually feel emotionally connected to them. I cried a lot and i laughed a lot, it made me sad, emotional, happy and every emotion there is. Everyone in this show is so cute, definitely worth your watch and won’t leave you disappointed!!!!!Was this review helpful to you?
It's a safe place ?
I don't know what to say except : WATCH IT. It became a safe place for me, it's just SO beautiful !!!! The story isn't the most original one but I like the fact that we have their "real moment" with their camera, it's the cherry on top yk ? Beautiful to see thanks to the director and the choice made for the shooting/setting/props but also thanks to the actors and their acting ! All the characters were loveable and the last episode made me cry 😠I'm just sad that it is a short drama, for once I wanted more episodes 🩷Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best coming of age in a school setting dramas! <3
My heart feels warm and fuzzy now. I adore this drama. Loved the characters to pieces!! Loved to see them love, grow and learn from each other without being overly dramatic or cringe. All the chapters of their life felt good enough and even the "time skips" were organic as if time flowed naturally. I believe both the original story and the script for this drama were very good, but also the actors! Considering for some of them it's their first major work that got recognised internationally too, this is something to be proud of! C-dramas are slowly winning my heart over Japanese/Korean and you can understand why. Added this to my comfort shows list even before finishing cus I knew even the end would be satisfying enough to give it a 10/10! <3Was this review helpful to you?
A beautiful heartwarming drama
This drama was protrayed really well. There was many really heartwarming moments. From the friendship of the 5 of them to Guan Fang and his grandmother to Rang Rang n Lu Li. I also really like how they didn't just stop at university like many youth dramas. I was touched by many scenes and it was like each episode told a story by itself. They also shared the back stories of the 5 of them. What I really liked was the way the show portrayed 默默付出, it really touched me. I also need more of Gu Ran and Jiang Jia though, they were really cute. Overall, I really enjoyed this show and it only took me 2 days to complete it. It really warmed my heart as I watched them grow, I find I have grown a little as well through this show so I want to leave a review here. Synopsis
Su Zaizai (Zhang Miaoyi) and Zhang Lurang (Zhou Yiran) are complete opposites in personality. Where Zhang Lurang is cold and aloof, Su Zaizai is social and friendly. That doesn’t stop Zaizai from developing an instant crush on Zhang Lurang when they have a chance encounter at a corner store on a rainy day. Zaizai begins to persistently put herself in Zhang Lurang’s sphere to get his attention and win his friendship. Zaizai turns out to be just what Zhang Lurang needed to help him break out of his cold, lonely shell. Tolerance becomes friendship then evolves to something more.
Review
This is one of the most heart warming romantic comedies I have ever seen. The main romance is credible, well paced, believable and incredibly sweet. The bonus, second couple romance, is also very touching. So many interesting relationships between the friends and family. If you like heart warming romances, coming of age, or friends to lovers then you should definitely add this to your watch list.

Zhang Lurang’s mother was a tiger mom to the extreme. Her expectations were so unreasonably high she was not satisfied her son was a top student. His lack of self confidence and shy/withdrawn nature was the consequence of his mother’s extreme behavior. It is harmful to compare one person to another in a negative way. Does it happen in real life. Absolutely. My spouse was subjected to that same lens and had many emotional problems as a result.
To watch Zaizai’s sunny persistence draw Zhang Lurang out of his protective cocoon was a delight to watch. In one part someone said your girlfriend is clingy and he corrected them saying he was the one who was clingy. Later they commented all the women were after him romantically yet he never wavered. It made perfect sense because she literally saved him from himself and he said as much.
There were occasions where the group of five were together just enjoying their friendship and being young and I loved it. It is a gift to have people like that in your life.
I loved how all the kids loved the one friend’s grandmother. They hung out at her restaurant and she fed them good food

Communication well done! watch it, best decision you'll make!!
I usually don't write reviews but I need everyone to watch this drama right now!! Both main leads go through many challenges from high school to their jobs even some cliche stuff but they make it not so cliche its so cute. They both Communicate so well leaving no misunderstandings for long. They both give each other strength as well as all of their friends. It focus on hard work, happiness, and such a fluffy drama. They have little to no miscommunication as well as the deep trust they have and when I say the trust is such a relief, they neither ever second guess about one another. The second lead couple are also so cute but I do wish they got together more early. This drama just gets better and better as you go into it, officially my comfort drama because usually for me dramas drag a few episodes but this one is so good I need more episodes, doesn't drag at all you can just enjoy watching this smiling, gives this nostalgic feel, greenest flags ever.
