Based on the life of Jose Maria Sison, a Filipino revolutionary who is now in exile in Europe. This film explores a tumultuous decade in Philippine history when Sison, a young intellectual and teacher founded the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and sought to overthrow the regime of the dictator Ferdinand Marcos. The Royal Norwegian Government at present stands as the third party in facilitating the peace talks between the Government of the Philippines and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines with its allied organizations including the CPP.
