Throwback...

I already expected a bit of mess in this episode after learning that instead of 5 there would only be 4 episodes now. The reason seems to be that the production did not receive enough funding - a fact, which can be seen in the whole series. After the rapid development in episode 3 I could not befriend the relationship between Sky and James here. It looked like a throwback. In episode 3 they were nearly like a couple. But in this episode 4 now, they behaved again like strangers. This did not make sense and was also not explained. The interaction between the two leads was disturbed by the two girls. They wanted to help James to match with Sky. However, it looked too artificial and their acting did not really help to convince me if they really wanted to do that. They were the most time giggling. The setting, in fact, would have been perfect. A trip to the see, beautiful Pattaya, could have been the perfect place for coming out and becoming a couple. Instead, we see a semi-sterile room with four people pretending to drink, or to get drunk, and then the finale......which happens to be a semi-rape scene. James starting to touch and pet Sky, who apparently was drunk, could at least interpreted as such. Sky, however, did not look then that unconscious, because he then "did" something to James. The following morning, however, we learn that Sky cannot remember anything. We do not know what happened. I know, a common topic in Thai BL series, the "rape". We do not know what happened, if something happened, and if, who did who. The ending was just open and we can only hope that the proposed special episode of the following week will shed some light on this. I am convinced, there was no rape, but this scene was again obsolete and distroyed the harmony between those two main actors. A bit of disappointing,.. I hope, they can get some more funding, because this promising series should not end this way...
