Both are short and simple webseries about two boys rooming with each other.
Boys Dormitory focuses more on one character than the other while Roommate focuses on both.

Both are Boys Love (BL) stories. The lead characters in both series are inadvertently made to stay together.

In both dramas the straight guys have roommates that they end up falling for. Also the roommates are gay.

Same main actor, similar premise. Two guys are made to share a room. And start developing feelings for each other.

'Roommate' is prequel to 'Soulmate'. It is the beginning of James' and Sky's story. In Roommate, the story begins as their moms force them into a shared living situation as university students.
