GLAD I CONTINUE TO WATCH TILL THE END!!
I get excited to know that one of my fave actress will be the female lead w/c is Xing Fei.I watch all her dramas and i can say all of them where good for me as i like light,sweet romcom dramas.As for the male lead i got curious of Hu Yitian since i havent watch any of his works. The 1-3 episode really caught my attention and made me look forward as to why the male lead acted that way towards Tang Xin..I got a lot of WHY's i really am happy i continue to watch until the end ( focus on the drama and avoid those reviews because we have different taste in liking a drama). There's no denial that Hu Yitian and Xing Fei's chemistry where one of the best ive seen ( ill call Xing Fei "Goddess of Handsome Male Leads")their chemistry is overflowing on and off screen. This drama is about "Healing each others psychological trauma". I love this drama because there is no annoying 2nd lead who chases the main leads,no break-ups, no annoying parents. This drama will teach you how to cope and treat sum1 whose having mental illness/trauma. Tang Xin and Shen Qing Yuan's love is the purest of all❤️ Both have so much respect to each other, help each other to overcome their fear and pushes one another to reach their dreams. I also love Tang Xin's brother who always support and protect her, Shen Qingyuans wingman,team mates and friends who helped him a lot on how to win over Tang Xin's love. The OST is really good too (i downloaded it already) the visuals are nice,the acting are on point.Thanks for giving me a lot of mixed emotions,i cried,giggle,laugh and feel the butterflies in my tummy with those sweet scenes? This drama & the couple become one of my favorite❤️❤️❤️ im really hoping for Hu Yitian to collab w/ Xing Fei again? planning on rewatching?Spread LOVE❤️

Best romantic couple
Totally in love with this couple … must watch loved it so much already watched it three times … xing fei is beautiful, her & hu yi tian acting is so real and pure … love from India ?? must must watch … its toally worth it… lots of emotions are involved … will going to watch it again as i am so in love with this couple …. Hope to see them again in season 2 or in any new drama … they are so so good in this one ? hope and praying that hello mr sharpshooter do well and it became super hit as i really want to see season 2 of it… beautiful portrayed story between these two …. Easy to follow
Easy to follow. The story line is very simple. Watched it because I’m so intrigued of xing feis acting skills. I’ve watched kdramas & cdrama and a lot of story are repetitive with no eye catching acting skills but not xing fei. She does knows to cry, laugh, smile, sad, angry, scared frustrated in natural ways, that’s why I’m pulled in to watch more of her work. She doesn’t disappoint. This story is to how to overcome psychological difficulties. And she really can pull the “I’m in love with you” character no matter whom she’s paired with in non cheesy way.Was this review helpful to you?

I have waiting this drama since they announced the lead for the first time.
I have waiting this drama more than a year to release. I started it with super high rating. Since I watch it until the end. I think that this is the best drama for me.+ the story
The story is not focus only romance, but also focuses on sports, the competition, the problems of the main lead, the way they solve the problem for each other, the way that they care about each other. There are some scenes that make me feel some boring too but it's not the big problem cause I still enjoy it. I'm just think that this drama is long that sould cut out some scenes that I want more sweet time between them.

The chemistry between the main lead is great and wonderful. I really love xing fei and hu yitian couple and hope to see them in another drama in the future. I feel shy even they just look at each other. This couple is so cute . They are comfortable with each other even on screen and off screen. I still can't get enough about their chemistry. I want more of this couple.

Their acting is great. I have watched a lot of xing fei drama. I still think that all her drama are great and I also love it. Hu yitian also good . I'm a fan of him since a love so beautiful. His acting has improved a lot and I also love his acting.
Others might think this drama is boring , yes we have different mind and different ideas. For me , I still think that this drama is great and I also enjoy it. I never feel regret for waiting and watching this drama. Hope to see xing fei and hu yitian together in another drama soon.

Beautiful drama
I like this drama super beatiful the way of act specially the leading actors of this drama(fair xing and Hu yitian) super gentle and good acting skill. Hoping for season 2 or maybe another drama for this two actor. It's so cute and more lesson for this drama like you need to be true in yourself. The team is super supportive for the love team of two players. And Hu yitian the way he understand the problems of one of his team mates. And also how fair cxing help him to overcome his problemsits such a big HEART for me.Congratulations for the team of this drama. Love you all

I enjoyed it
I rate this show highly, not only because the acting is good. Mental health is a difficult area and a taboo subject. We all suffer from mental health issues to varying degrees and at different points in our lives. This show to me brings this issue out in the open and perhaps will enable some of us to appreciate the problem and develop some understanding. I feel that this is what has led to some negative reviews. It was very brave of the writers and producers to run with the story line.Aside from this tricky issue, the show was fun, cute, well thought out and well performed. Admittedly there were a few times when it dragged a bit. I liked that there wasn’t the love triangle and the romance of each couple was heartwarming and at times the antics were hilarious. Of course you had the not so nice people and it was justifying to see good win over bad. Steadfast love and a willingness to stay together, cute scenes and many funny moments. I laughed and cried. To me it was a feel good love story, just what I want when I’m watching romance dramas.

I think I'm probably in the minority for liking this: But, I basically reviewed this as I watched the episodes, so come read my journey if you would like to see what went through my mind as I watched this while waiting for episodes to air, and translate.Currently watching this because I love the two actors, just currently waiting to see how the story goes! It is interesting though, how they both are slowly overcoming mentally together, I would love to see what else there is!
From Ep20 Update: I've seen many bad reviews! But in hindsight, I actually enjoy it! Since it's a lot about mental health, and just seeing how they both are helping each other bit by bit. It does seem slow the process, but sure nothing is a quick process when its relationships and also dealing with mental issues, so I am enjoying it even if the reviews say it's bad.
Update! Ep30.. - I am probably one of many who are in the minority of enjoying this drama, I think what I like is, how when dealing with their mental issues, they always each go to someone who they trust to talk about things. Whether it's the guidance counsellor, or one of the friends! And how the four main leads, help each other out.
How mental issues, take time and you need patience, and sometimes like Tang Xin how she wants to really help Shen Qingyuan to recover, yet also being afraid if he remembers things could become worse.
I think another reason, why I am enjoying this drama is because there isn't any like misunderstandings, like many dramas, where there's like a side girl making everything worse or making up situations, and everyone's crying ..etc! and even if I see many reviews and comments saying the story is slow and how both the Male & Female Leads are annoying.. I somewhat still enjoy the drama myself! -
Ep34 - O.M.D ... What a roller coaster! This is the real drama now.. - still processing what happened! But, I do feel like what I got out of this is the jealousy from the men in these eps: People are crazy to go to lengths in messing with someone's mentality just for their own fame, money etc. Shen Qingyuan: literally became a changed person, over broken memories, and the words of someone who just wanted to win a game! What's also scary is that this actually does happen in reality too - jealousy, people being mean with their words..
Ep38: - It was a interesting few eps, I do feel it was a little rushed around what's happening! And everything kind of ended really quickly.. And meeting the parents was soo quick as well, and we never got to see Shen Qingyuan's parents either which is why I felt everything was a little rushed. Or they could have gone through therapy together a lot more and slowly in that sense gotten better and closer!
Final: It was a cute ending, I'd have to say! I just enjoyed both the actors. I do feel like the story could have been recollected a little better. Since the start, they focused a lot more on Tang Xin's mental health, and the rushed the rest of the story. But I enjoyed how they were always supporting each other and believing in each other till the end!
Although a few things, I would have loved to see the wedding, and would have been more a surprise if Xiao CiCi, got into the Olympics cause she was pretty much just as good! Also, do wish, Xiao CiCi had more double dates in the story, I think she was such a pretty character in the show, but always hate the same outfits on. Definitely would love to see her in another show as the main character, with loads of really pretty clothes!
- But I enjoyed this! Kinda sad that it's over! I'm glad I finished this.. It was like a nice light-hearted drama, and even though the story was a little quick near the end! I still nonetheless enjoyed it. It also gave such a eye-opening for mental health, and seeing therapists, and also how demanding sports can be with jealousy and many other things.

The chemistry between the leads and the story
I'm on episode 20 and I'm still getting butterflies because of the ML and FL chemistry and interactions, they're soo cute together, even with their issues, just seeing FL try and the patience of ML is satisfying to me. Tbh i like the story and I'm looking forward to their past being revealed, and how they overcome their current issues. I'm happy with the pace as well, never have I felt so far that it should be done already, I'm enjoying it, there is still half way to go so we'll see what the second half will bring. It seems in the comment section I guess I'm the only one who's happy it didn't end yet?! ?. Also I've binge watched 20 episodes in a day ??.. I'm happy I decided to watch this.It's all about personal taste, so far i have no issues with the show, I've seen a good bit of the FL shows and a few of the ML, and tbh she has more chemistry with this this ML than some other shows I've seen her in, but that's just me. I'm also watching this like i never read any of the comments so i can judge it for myself.
There is a few draggy episodes, after a particular incident, i did skip a little but it was side characters not the main couple, about 80% of the shows I watched have some draggy parts, this is nothing new. Also.... I really really really hate the character of the rival shooting team captain, using all sorts of foolish tricks, why can't he just use his own talent.. it's soo upsetting at this point!!!
I really loved the pace of the romance, personally i think it was great that it wasn't rushed, because none of them were mentally prepared to be for a full committed relationship, but they just gradually get closer and get through their issues, up until the very end.
Completed the drama, and I enjoyed it very much... idk about the comments, but i really did enjoy the journey with the FL and the ML, to the point where i wish there were another episode with more of there life after.. don't want to spoil anything. but either way, i definitely loved this drama, i love the chemistry between the leads, i liked the ost and i like the story very much, the story ha various issues both physical and mental, I loved the whole healing process of the Leads as well. I'll give it at least an 9/10 because i left feeling happy.
If you find something you want to watch, try it out on your own, you may love it, like it or hate it but once its your own decision then that's what matters. I am personally happy i didn't follow the comments, but this is solely based on my preference, it's up to you to decide from checking it out if it's for you or not.

Hello, the Sharpshooter (HTS) turned out to be a decent watch. True, the show could have been executed better, but it had enough good elements to keep me engaged until it finished airing. It is not a serious and deep drama, even though its primary theme centered around the main characters dealing with psychological issues.The plot was nothing new. First loves reuniting with amnesia as a starting obstacle, but I liked how the show wrapped things up so nicely. Some commented that it was too draggy, and yes, a few episodes may be slow, but I felt that the show used the extra episodes effectively to show how the main characters overcame their trauma. At least, unlike other shows in which the character miraculously became better overnight within one episode, HTS took the time to show the process of healing for the main characters. Via Dr. Ding, the sharpshooter team's psychologist, the show provided details that helped to explain how the ML and FL finally resolved their issues. I liked seeing how the ML and FL worked with Dr. Ding to try out methods on the other, and it made sense that ML's journey took a longer time, having the extra burden of guilt.
The best part of the show was the casting, especially with the main and second couple pairings. The show hit the jackpot with the chemistry between Hu Yi Tian as Shen Qing Yuan (SQY) and Fair Xing as Tang Xin (TX). As individual characters, they were tropey (think cold, emotionless ML, almost perfect in every way except his EQ, and clumsy but endearing and plucky FL). However, as a couple, they made the romance come alive so naturally and so adorably that it kept me coming back for the next episodes. Similarly, the relationship may have developed differently for the second couple, but their path to being together was also a fun watch. The supporting cast, especially SQY's wingmen also deserved credit for adding flavor to the story. Also, there were some great scenes where the show balanced well between humor and poignancy.
I enjoyed watching SQY and TX grow together and individually from the natural conflict of their budding relationship and also having to deal with their past history that casted a dark shadow over them. What was ultimately gratifying to me was how the two healed so beautifully together, finding common ground and knowing how to bring out the best in each other. They complemented each other and reveled in each other's strengths. When conflict entered the plot that kept them apart, it was not a test of whether it will break them up but more of a testament that their relationship was healthy enough to adapt and overcome. I appreciated TX's patience and sweetness as she knew how to coax SQY during his fits of jealousy or moments of gloom, and I loved how SQY was consistently there for TX, even when he was struggling hard with his issues.
There were some frustrating moments that can only happen in dramaland. No matter how much they crossed the line or how unprofessional they were, the antagonists were able to get away with their actions multiple times. Fortunately, all the primary villains getting their just deserts provided the satisfaction that I typically needed for a happy ending. I wish that they built up the coach's character better since he seemed to turn a blind eye to all the atrocious things done to his sharpshooter team. Additionally, I will insert my usual rant about how terribly the c-dramas style their FLs. I simply do not understand why the MLs and SFL are usually dressed so stylishly, while the FL tend to be dressed in dowdy, old-fashioned, and oversized outfits.
Visually, HTS is a feast for the eyes because no matter who you look at - either Hu Yi Tian, Fair Xing, Kido Ma, Luo Qiu Yun, or most of the supporting cast, it was good looks galore. Acting-wise, most of the cast did a fine job, but I felt that both Hu Yi Tian and Fair Xing have not expanded beyond their current acting abilities since their characters in HTS were similar to those in their other dramas. They did well in general, but I would love to see them break the mold.
Musically, the OST was memorable, and by that, I mean the songs were effective in evoking memories of the scenes for me. I like the opening song, sung by Liu Yu Ning, and it reflected the hopeful aspiring tone of the underlying sports theme throughout the show. For posterity, I included the tracklist at the end of this review.
Overall, HTS pleasantly surprised me and I would re-watch to catch the nuances I may have missed during the first run..
I do recommend that you try this drama out and decide for yourself. If nothing else, the chemistry between Hu Yi Tian and Fair Xing might be enough to keep you watching.

Well when I found about this pairing i really happy & quite surprise, never expected to watch Xing Fei & Hu Yi Tian in 1 drama together....I've never laugh so much when I watch Hu Yi Tian drama, because u know with his still face usually he get rather serious drama with no much funny scene that can make me laugh. But here, as Shen Qing Yuan, he is just so naive, flirtatious & have acute level of love sick.... Hahaha.... Let's elaborate more...
What I like:
+ No love rival. I really glad when they decided to make Shi Xiao Ci (XC) only as friend in the club, not another Girl that fall for the idol in the club.
+ They show us the dirty part of spormanship in the sport world. Yeah not all human is pure & can compete with pure heart. Here we can see the athlete still human & sometimes they did dirty stuff to make sure themselves is getting the spot in the competition and even also mean they do anything to make secure the winning spot for themselves.
+ They once more emphasize the importance of mental health in someone heart. Like in here Shen Qing Yuan (QY), Tang Xin (TX) & Chen Hai.
+ Really like the performance of Hu Yi Tian here. QY is a naive young boy at first, he listen to all his friend suggestion about love & relationship & then he like any other man, he quite flirtatious when he tease TX after they're in relationship, he is also one of the winner of jealousy king, yet he is still so kind when he's treating TX....
+ Everyone keep making the other party better. Like XC & Du Ling Feng or how QY making his teammate better overcome in the sport.
+ They show us one of marriage problem, like Dr. Ding Fang & Zhou Zu Guang, & I really like the way Zhou Zu Guang make in the end, yeah sometimes we have to step back so we can go forward.
+ Not too much skinship. Even though QY quite clingy but the skinship not as much as other drama. Sometimes Xing Fei drama a little bit too much skinship...
What I don't too like:
- Yeah the duration is a little bit too long. 40 ep for this kind of story is a little bit much. They kinda stretch it until almost we reach our boring button.
- Once again, why they have to choose 20s almost reach 30s actor & actress to play university student. Although I really like they performance sometimes quite wonder can't they choose actor/ess more appropriate for their age....
- the return memory of QY feel like anticlimactic for me. It just like it happen already...
if you are the fans of Hu Yi Tian this drama you should watch... I really like how he is getting better at choosing the drama where he can act not only one particular role. Overall I really like this drama, this drama make me laugh until my stomach hurt, but I don't think I will re-watch this...

When I started this, I didn't have an idea that I would be rating this this low. I started this with high expectations and now, when I finished it, I'm utterly disappointed. The story was full of cliches. Selective amnesia, psychological problems etc. The only thing I actually liked in the story is the absence of the usual love triangle. Usually, in most c-dramas, the 2nd leads are used for creating a love triangle. I really appreciate this drama for excluding this. If the love triangle was also present in this drama, I, who don't drop dramas, might as well have dropped this.
Another reason I pushed though this drama is the cast. I'm a fan of Xing Fei and I liked most of her dramas I watched. But, this is an exception. She acted as usual like the clumsy and cute FL. I liked Hu Yi Tian in A Love So Beautiful and again, he also acted like usual, as a cold, handsome and popular ML. There was no change in their character traits compared to their previous dramas. I really hope they can widen their horizon by taking up different kinds of roles in diffefernt kinds of dramamas
The character of the FL, Tang Xin, has phychological disorder, the character of ML, Shen Qingyuan, has selective amnesia and psychological disorder, the character of 2nd FL, She Xiaoci has a psychological disorder. In short, most of the character in this drama has a psychological disorder and this made me really annoyed.
An overall summary:

*Good characterization of 2nd leads.
*Absence of the usual love triangle in c-dramas.
*Past stories of the character, especially, the 2nd FL's
*The brotherly love of Tang Xin's brother, Tang Liqi.

* Sloppy character arcs of the main leads.
*Most character having psychological problems.
*Poor excecution
*Number of episodes. The drama could have been just 24 eps after removing the unnecessary fillers.
Watching this drama was torture. I just pused through because of the cast and some supporting characters I liked like Tang Liqi, Shi Xiaoci and the cute hedgedog. I should really have dropped this and I regret completeing this. Anyways, this would almost be a good watch for Xing Fei or Hu Yi Tian fans.
